I've been keeping my secret very well until now. Even Donghun, my roommate never see me without my bangs. I went to bath when there's no one at the bathroom. Also I never wash my face in front him. I wonder if he puts my bangs up when I'm asleep but I don't think so. I have a high self awareness and I am the type of person that wakes up easily when there's something disturbing me. If he's done that I would have notice a long time ago. I'm pretty sure about that. Besides, Donghun is a nice person so he won't interrupt my privacy like that. He'll just ask me if he wanted to see  my face.

A few time passed and we're in the third semester. Donghun and I didn't stay at the hostel anymore. We got ourselves a share house. There's two room in the house. Enough for Donghun and I. The rent was affordable and it's not far from our university so we're grateful to be able to stay there.

Hey Jun, we've been friends for some time right? Now that we're living together can I ask something from you? Donghun ask me out of the blue.

Yeah sure man. What is it?

You sure? He ask again.

Yeah sure. I repeat my words.

I've never seen your face. I've been very curious before but I don't want to ask you since we're living at the hostel before. Now that we're living together I think I can ask you about that. Is there something that you're hiding behind that thick bangs? I wish you can show me your face. I don't care if there's a scar or your eyes are weird or something like that. I'll still be your friend. We've been besties right? It's okay to show it to me. I'm not forcing you though.
Donghun blurts out what bottled in him for a long time.

W-wait a minute. That's a long question to ask in a single breath. You must be very curious. Hahahaha!

Jun! you're laughing? I arranged the words carefully not to hurt your feelings. Said Donghun while puncing my shoulder hardly.

Ouchh! Okay okay. I wonder why you haven't ask me earlier too. Now I'll tell you what. There's a reason why I'm having this hair. I'm actually hiding. I've been suffering for such a long time because of how I look. I can show my face to you because I trusted you. This means you can't ever tell anyone okay?

I slowly lifted my bangs in front him.

Donghun literally looks at me while his mouth opened quite wide. He froze and didn't say anything for almost a minute.

Oh come on, man. Am I an alien? Why are you so shocked? tskk.

No man you're not an alien you're an angel. How could you hide that face you idiot!! How dare you betray me I'm not expecting you to look like this!!
Donghun said that in a high-pitched voice while pinching my cheeks.

Arghh! That hurts okay? Sorry. It's your fault too for not asking me earlier. No one told you to make yourself curious for a long time. Hahahahahaha.

Donghun quickly grabs me and puts me in a leglock position.

How dare you mess up with me. I learned judo for 5 years now!

Both of us laughing hysterically that a neighbor knocks our door to shut us up. We went silent after that.

Tonight Donghun knows everything about me. I told him my story from a to z. He seems very amazed by it. He never thought I've been through a lot of bad experience in life. People thought good looking people will have an easy life but seriously no. Maybe some people are like that but not in my case. My looks made me suffer. Donghun quickly understand me when I told him that. People need to stop their assumption on good looking person. I'm glad Donghun is a very understanding friend. Thank you God for meeting us.
