Chapter 14

JP POV

[Mokuba walked me over to Kaiba Corp where I was going to duel Kaiba. I've always heard things about him but now I was going to face him. I was both a little excited and nervous. I mean he's been going after Yugi ever since he lost to him at Duelist Kingdom. I might be next on his list]

Kaiba POV

[I stood waiting in the duel arena waiting for my opponent. Mokuba told me that he beat Yugi. I need to know how he did it so I can finally beat Yugi and regain my status as the number one duelist in the world. I hate to admit it but I'm a little nervous. Mokuba told me that he used a summoning technique that I've never seen before. I need to learn how to use it. My opponent arrives. It's time to get the show on the road]

3rd Person POV

[JP and Mokuba step out of the elevator. JP and Kaiba look at each other sizing each other up. Kaiba decided to break the silence]

Kaiba: I heard that you beat the King of Games. I want to know how you did it.

JP: To be fair, Yugi wasn't using his normal deck so that have given me the edge.

Kaiba: Stop making excusues. Mokuba told me that you invented a new summoning technique. I want to see it here and now. Then you will teach it to me. Afterwards you will enter my Battle City Tournament, make it to the finals, but lose to me at the championship.

JP: We'll see about that, Kaiba. I won't be defeated easily.

Kaiba: Well, let's get on with it.

[JP and Kaiba get set to duel. They both activate their duel disks. They both stared each other down. They both were fighting for their own reasons. Kaiba because he wanted to find out how he beat. JP because he doesn't want Kaiba to learn how to do his summoning techniques]

JP: I win I don't teach you.
