3rd Person POV

[JP is sitting by himself on the side walk. The rest of his friends are out doing things. Joey and Tristan are doing their own thing while Tea decides to hang with Yugi. Or is it Yami? JP was just explained on how Yugi has an ancient Egyptian pharaoh living inside him. JP couldn't take all the information at once, so he had to leave to breathe]

JP: All of this is just crazy. Of course, it's Yugi who gets to be the cool person. He's the King of Games. So, when I beat him I didn't beat him. It's not fair. Why can't I be the hero for once? I'm tired of people speaking so well of him when I beat him.

[JP is approached by the Masked Boy]

Masked Boy: You are actually very important. You just don't know it yet.

JP: It's you! You disappeared before I could talk to you. What are you talking about?

Masked Boy: Now isn't the time to explain but there is a reason why your deck is built the way it is and why you can't remember anything.

JP: Why can't you tell me?

Masked Boy: You have enough on your plate like the Battle City Tournament.

JP: I honestly don't want to do it.

Masked Boy: You must. It's very important that you win. I have to go now but be careful of these people called Shadow Riders.

[The Masked Boy sees a woman approaching. She stops in surprise to see him]

Masked Boy: Ishizu, good to see you again.

Ishizu: How do you know my name?

[The Masked Boy vanishes. Ishizu tries to catch him but is too late. She approaches JP]

Ishizu: Hello.

JP: What do you want?

Ishizu: I came to test your skills. I have a very important decision to make and a duel will help me decide.

JP: Help you decide what?

Ishizu: All will be explained if you win. Now, let's get this test underway. I don't have much time. (Thoughts) Little does he know that with the power of my millennium necklace I can see the future. If I can stop him is a different story.

JP: If it's that important then I accept your challenge.

[JP and Ishizu get set to duel. They both activate their duel disks]
