Eve hastily glances at her phone's clock and snatches her clutch bag, expressing concern "Time is slipping away faster than I thought. We need to head out now if we're going to find our outfits and make it on time for the flight," she stresses.

"I'm so tired, babe. All we've done these past weeks is window shopping, and we still haven't found the perfect dresses. What makes you think today will be any different?" I flop onto her bed, drained from schoolwork "Why can't we go shopping in Sydney? I'm tired. I just want to take a nap and mentally prepare myself for the flight..." My words are interrupted by a knock on the door

"It's open," Eve yells, and Austin walks in.

"Hey, guys. Are you ready?" Austin asks, and I bury my face into the pillow.

"You guys can leave me," I groan into the pillow, my body yearning for a nap. However, my plans are thwarted when someone covers my body with theirs.

My senses awaken at his touch, and his breath caresses my ear "Hey, Precious" Excitement buzzes through me as my body turns to find itself now in his embrace "Missed me that much, huh?" He draws back, leaning down to kiss me.

Schoolwork has been overwhelming, and we barely have time for anything else. I've been shuttling between the dorm and Blake's apartment, also making some time for Paul. Since I informed him about Luna's intentions he's been distant, especially in the past two weeks. Sometimes he wouldn't answer my calls or respond to my texts, causing me worry. Although being here doesn't change much, as he still appears absent-minded, it's comforting to know that we can still fall back into our old routines—studying together or having movie marathons.

"You can't imagine how much I've longed for this," I tighten my embrace around him "Sleeping alone is a dull affair." I encircle my arms around him, drawing him closer, and our lips unite in a tender, passionate kiss.

"Yes, we get it. You guys missed each other can we go now?" Eve whines, and we part from the kiss "Time is not on our side..." The knock interrupts Eve's words "It's open."

Paul enters, his face already revealing a burden on his mind "Hey, guys," his voice, a somber tone, differs from its usual self. Worry envelops me as I shift my attention to him "I won't be accompanying you guys home, and I won't make it to the dinner either" He turns his gaze to Blake and Jake "Send my wishes to your mum for me"
