Once Bitten, Twice Shy

A/N - HEY!!! IM SOO SO SO SO SO SORRY!!!! I PROMISE!!! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!! 😭😭😭😭😭..... uhm.. *ahem* Anyways. Here ya go..  (●—●) again.. Im.. so sorry..

I was sitting on the ground next to a table in the Bridge and Nya revealed a  skeleton.

"Some villagers unearthed the remains of this Fangpyre a few miles away. It predates the Golden Age, and must be hundreds of years old."

I yawned and leaned on the table, as I did I saw Jay swooning over Nya. I looked over to Kai and he smiled at me.

I sighed and continued to listen. "Although the venom in the fangs of the Fangpyre genetically mutate human cells into reptilian, I've learned there could be a way to stop the eff..." I started to zone out and started to think of Lloyd..

'Wonder how he's doing... I hope he's fine..' I sighed and didn't realize Zane poking me.

"W-wha?" I snapped back to reality. "The lesson is over, Y/n." He smiled.

"Oh. Uhm. Yeah.." I smiled, and packed my things. I left with the others. "Sounds like a plan." Kai stated.

"Im excited to join." I smiled and walked out.

I sighed and I looked over the ship. "Worried 'bout Lloyd?" I turned around and saw Kai.

"Yeah.. Wondering if he's doing okay.."
I rest my head into my palm and did some gestures making the wind move the ship a bit faster.

"He's going to be fine.. I gotta go train. See ya, Y/n." I hummed in responce and Kai walked away.

I watched the others train and saw Jay walking out looking all lovey dovey. I smirked and contiued to play with the wind.

-Timeskip-

I was walking over to my room when I overheard Jay. "Did I ever tell you I was the first on to learn Spinjitsu?" I snickered and continued to listen.

"No. I mean, uh, I invented Spinjitsu. Yeah that's it." I quietly said, "What?! Jay didn't invent- Oh... Pfft. No way is Nya gonna buy that." I giggled and walked away.

I waited outside doing some wind stuff. I swirled my hand and made a ball of wind. I threw it and it knocked over a bucket. "I didn't.. aim for that."

I shrugged and did a couple more. I started to lose concentration and the wind ball dispersed. "Oh.. who am I kidding? Lloyd is probably doing fine.....Besides.. he's strong." I muttered.

I sighed and went inside with the others. "Whoa, where are you going, Mr. Fancy?" Cole asked.

"Didn't you hear? I'm taking Nya to a nice restaurant. A real nice restaurant." Jay said.

You might wanna change your plans. The bridge just picked up evidence of Serpentine activity over at Mega Monster Amusement Park." Kai stated.

"Probably because one of the Fangblades are there." I said, crossing my arms looking over at the map.

"Hey, that's Pythor!" Jay said. "Pythor would not be there for fun. We believe a fangblade may be buried underneath the park." Zane said.

"We can't let them get it! Oh, but my date..." Jay said.

"Jay, if they get all four of them, Pythor can unleash the Great Devourer. Get your priorities straight, man." Kai said.

"He's right. We have to go now before they find the Fangblade." I said. I saw Jay run over to Nya's room, and I facepalmed.

I ran with the ninja to the park and we jumped down. Well... They jumped down. I used powers to hover down.

"Where is everybody?" Kai said. I looked around and heard screaming. I jumped and held on to Cole. He looked at me and smiled.

I smiled awkwardly and let go. "Why is everyone screaming?" I pouted.

"Wait a minute, that ride was never scary." Cole said. "Venomari." Zane said. "Should we get Jay?" Kai asked. "Let's not bother the two love birds. I think we can handle this." Cole stated.

"I'll go try to evacuate the park." I said. They nodded and we went our seperate ways.

I tried but I couldn't. I grumbled and went to the ninja. I then saw that Zane froze themselves. I sighed and tried to break them out. "Come on!!" I kicked the ice but it didn't break.

I panted, "Y/n! Go!! We'll be fine!" Kai said. "Are you sure!?" They all nodded. I smiled and ran out.

"Come on.. Where are you?" I ran to the roller coaster and saw the serpentine there. I glared at them and blew a huge gust of wind, knocking them over.

I then hid behind one of the building. "Hope they're okay...."

-with Jay and Nya-

"Jay, I don't think the Samurai is coming." -Nya

"Why?" -Jay

"I know this might not be the best time, but I haven't been totallt honest either." -Nya

"What is it?" -Jay

"I... I'm the Samurai." -Nya

Jay then scoffed. "You're the Samurai? Aah! We're running out of track."

"Jay, if anything horrible were to happen, I want you to know that you don't have to wear cologne or pretend to be anything that you're not. Because I like you best when you're you!" Nya then kissed Jay on the cheek and Jay started to glow.

"Your face. You're returning back to normal." Nya said.

"Its just like you said. You must've raised me heart rate." Jay then smiled.

"Whatever happens next, just remember, you are the best you." Nya said.

Jay, right then and there, glowed like Zane and floated up. "What's happening?" Nya asked. "My true potential!" Jay then hovered to the front of the ride and stopped it from falling.

-Back to the reader-

I sighed and ran to the ninja. Kai then kneeled down and patted my head. "You did good." I smiled.

"You really had me fooled. I never guessed you were the Samurai." Zane said.

"I wish I had a sister like you." Cole followed. I let go of Kai and went in between of Cole and Zane.

"Technically, I was the first to discover her secret, and didn't we agree whoever thought was the best would naturally be the green ninja? Huh? The Green Ninja! The destined ninja to defeat Lord Garmadon, huh?" Kai asked.

"Why would we say that?" Jay asked. "Yeah Im drawing a blank." Cole said.
"Nope. That conversation is not in my database." Zane said shortly afterwards.

I laughed, "I wasn't in the conversation." I smirked and climbed on top of Cole, he held my feet to keep me in place.

"You know what I learned today?" Jay asked.

"What's that?" Nya said.

"No matter what kind of secret you have, whether you're a snake or a samurai, it's important to be yourself." Jay said.

"Yeah, that's cute. But you wanna know what I learned? The serpentine now have the first Fangblade." Cole said.

"But we are getting stronger. One day we will all learn our true potential and Pythor will be stopped." Zane said.

I nodded and looked over to Jay. "And we figured out all this without Sensei. Pretty good for four ninja."

I grunted and Nya hit Jay's arm. "Five ninja and a samurai!" I smiled. "Wonder what sensei is doing now."

"Come on. Let's go back to the ship." We nodded and left.
