Child's Play

On the Bounty, me, Lloyd and the others were training and right now we're taking a 10 minute break.

I used the wind and moved the clouds so the town below couldn't see us but we could see them.

"Hey, Y/n?" I look at Lloyd. "Yeah? What's up?"

"Do you ever just.. wanna take a break from being a ninja and just- be a kid?" He asked me. I widen my eyes and look down at Jamanaki Village.

"I mean.. yeah.. But we do what we gotta do. Even if it's tiring..." I replied. He hummed in response. "Is there something elese bothering you?" I asked.

"What? I mean- Yeah-" He stuttered but got interrupted by Kai.

"Okay, let's get to training, you two.." Kai said. Lloyd groaned and yawned while I followed behind. I got into my position while Lloyd just yawned and did a gesture saying 'Come at me'.

"Now that the bounty is in our possession again, we can train you two more effectively,  but you'll have to focus. One more time." Zane said. "Ah, but we've been training all day." Lloyd whined.

"It's all to get you ready to face your father. Now, in position." Cole pointed next to me.  Lloyd sighed and went next to me. I smiled tiredly and looked at the Ninja. They put on their masks and Lloyd yawned... again. 

"Ah, whatever..." Lloyd stated. Kai jumped up and tried to kick me and Lloyd but I did a backflip and Lloyd punch him, making Kai fall back towards the others. I sighed as Zane and Jay jumped at us, Lloyd and me used Spinjutsu to push them back, "Ninja-Go!" Zane fell towards the stairs while Jay fell towards the others, I stopped and smiled and Lloyd smirked. 

Cole snuck up behind us and kicked Lloyd into me, making both of us fall, "Woah!" I fell on my stomach and grunted.  Lloyd face planted and sighed, "That was fun. Are we done?" He asked. I chuckled and got up. 

"Oh, come on. You're better than this. Y/n's giving training her all, what's on your mind?" Jay asked, I walked towards Lloyd, "Jay's right.. The other day you were perfectly fine." I frowned a bit.

"Well, ah... The latest issue of Starfarer just came in at Doomsday comics, and it's a limited run! So if I don't go out and get it, It's gonna sell out." Kai and Cole looked at each other while I smirked at Lloyd fanboy moment. "Last they left off,  intergalactic rogue, Fritz Donnegan was surrounded by The Imperial Sludge, and if I don't find out if he gets out all right, I think I might have my own doomsday!" He yelled.

'That's what's been bothering him?' I thought in my head, "The fate of Ninjago rests on your shoulders. As the Green Ninja, you have a giant responsibility to hold. I'm sorry, but you don't have time for such childish things.." Kai said. 

"Other kids get to play and have fun. All I ever do is train." He looked at Jamanakai Village as we passed it. I sighed and frowned. Just then, Nya barged in, "Guys, there's been a break in at the Ninjago City Museum of History! And the security cameras picked up you know who." I frowned as Cole said it was Garmadon, "We have to stop him before he uses the Mega Weapon to start another one of his diabolical plots!" Jay said.

"Um..." The ninja looked at Lloyd, "ugh, yeah yeah yeah. I can't go, and it's safer if I stay here and train.." The ninja nodded, "Y/n, make sure Lloyd doesn't do anything stupid." Cole said.

I nodded, "You can count on me.."

"We'll meet up at the Bounty as soon as we're done." Kai said. "We'll be waiting for your safe return." I smiled and waved as they went to the museum. "Ah. Too old for comic books and too young to fight. When are they gonna make up their minds?" Lloyd asked. I laughed, "Come on, pint-size. Show me what you got." Nya said to us.
