The Curse of the Golden Master

The ninja had arrived at New Ninjago City and looked around, "What happened?" Kai asked. "No power. That's what happened." Cole said. "Are we too late?" Zane asked. The ninja walked forward but triggered a wire making a bunch of broken cars fall in front of them.

The ninja gasped and stepped back, and a crowd of people came out from behind the pile of broken cars, "Outsiders must answer to the Postman!" Some random person said. "Return to sender!" the Postman said.

The ninja looked at each other and Kai shrugged. Then Borg appeared behind the crowd, "Ah, you finally made it. Don't mind the savages. Since power went out, everyone here has grown a bit... bored. Their imagination knows no bounds." Borg looked behind the ninja ad saw Pixal with Nya.

"Pixal. Amazing! You're... powered." Borg said. "You need to stay in character, Borg. This is no fun if we're not all committed." Postman said. "Oh, I'll have you all committed if you don't all leave us at once. Now shoo!" Borg said.

The crowd groaned and grubbed and walked away. "We have real problems to address. Pixal, what's powering you?" Borg asked. "Zane gave me half of his heart." Doesn't sound weird at all but okay "Thank you, Zane. I am greatly indebted. Unfortunately, the hard drive was stolen with the digital imprint of the Overlord. You'll be unable to erase him with your techno blades until we find it." Borg said.

"Aw, don't worry, we had a little run-in with the red handed suspect. Or should I say white-handed." Jay brought out the white scale, "He left behind a white scale. Get this, he's serpentine." Jay said.

"Lucky for us," Cole liifted up the manhole cover, "the last sperentine were sealed within a tomb right under the city, so it's about time to pay them a little visit." The ninja started to climb down the ladder. "Approach with caution. I've also lost a few valuable prototypes. He may be armed and extremely dangerous." Borg said.

"We know, and just for the record. When those prototypes are available to the public, could you let me know? They're just the coolest gadgets." Jay climbed down and Kai followed, "Uh, Pixal, where are you going? Now that my assistant has an unlimited power supply, there's an infinite amount of good to be done." Borg said.

Pixal looked at Zane and frowned. Zane smiled and nodded, "As you wish, Mr. Borg." Pixal said. Zane climbed down the manhole and looked at Pixal again. She frowned and waved bye as she left. Zane blinked and closed the manhole afterwards.

-Underground-

"Watch your step, Nya. We don't know the last time this ladder was used." Cole said, "That's thoughtful of you, Cole." Nya smiled. "Hey! How about you watch where you're watching, Cole. Huh?" Jay said.

The ladder under Nya then broke and she slipped, "Aah!! Uh, guys? A little help?" Nya asked. "Oh, is that a threat, Jay? Cause coming from you, it sounds like some of your best material." Cole said.

Jay laughed, "There's a reason nobody liked you." Jay said. Then the ladder where Nya was holding broke and she screamed, falling to the ground. She sighed and dusted herself off, "My knights in shining armor." Nya said, holding out a glow stick. 

The others jumped down and Cole and Jay pointed at each other, "It was his fault." They both said. Then they brought out their glow sticks and started to walk forward, "Serpentine. Never thought I'd see them again." Kai said.

-With the Overlord and the mysterious person-

"We know where the Golden Ninja is, so why are we doing nothing about it? I must escape this wretched digital prison!" Overlord said. "Patience. The Golden Ninja won't go down without a fight and we've already depleted our Electro-Cobrai. Before we take his Golden Power, we need more power of our own." The stranger said.
