Island of Darkness

We had arrived at the Dark Island and right now we were building a small camp and hiding the Bounty while Kai was on lookout. "This whole island is swarming with Garmadon's indestructible Stone Army." Kai said.

"Ha! Good thing we're ninja and we know how to hide." Jay said. I chuckled and Cole crossed his arms. "Who wants to hide when you can fight? I'm getting tired of having our heads buried in the sand. I wanna fight these guys." Cole said afterwards.

"But Cole, they have no apparent weakness. It would be unwise to start a fight we can't finish." Zane said. Sensei Wu walked out of the Bounty, "That is why we must find the Temple of Light..." We all went inside the Bounty and Misako unrolled a scroll.

"The Scrolls say there is a hidden temple of the island. If you find it, it'll give the ninja pure elemental powers. Powers that can destroy the indestructible army." Misako smiled. "So you're saying we get to fight? Oh, I've got happy feet." Cole said. I giggled and refocused my attention to Misako.

"And you, my son, here it is written: 'For once the Green Ninja rings the instrument of peace, he will strike it and know the power of the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master.'" Misako said. I widened my eyes, "Ultimate Spinjitzu Master?" Lloyd asked.

"It means you'll be able to invoke the power of the Golden Dragon. An ancient fighting style only practiced by the first Spinjitzu master." Misako said.

 We were surprised and looked at each other, Lloyd laughed, "Jealous?" Lloyd asked. I rolled my eyes playfully and nudged him, he chuckled and pulled me by the waist and hugged me from behind. "Wait a minute. This all sounds too good to be true. What's the catch?" Kai asked.

"The catch is, the Temple could be anywhere on the island, and all we have is this." Sensei Wu then showed a medallion. "A medallion. It's like a compass. When the three holes match up, the medallion will reveal where the temple is hidden." 

We looked at Dr. Julian and he chuckled, "I did a lot of reading in my spare time. Adventure stories were my favorite." Zane then took the medallion, "Then what are we waiting for?" Zane asked. Lloyd let me go and I walked towards the others, "Not you, Lloyd." 

I laughed a bit, "Oh, seriously? Are we still doing this?" Lloyd pouted. "Wu is right. If you were to come across your father, it could prematurely start the final battle. We need to be at full strength before we take any risks." Misako said. 

Jay laughed, "Jealous?" Lloyd scoffed and crossed his arms. I smiled a bit, "I'll actually stay behind, the less people, the better chance we won't be spotted." Said and the others nodded. "Well, I could use some help around the shop. We should get working on vehicles that might help give us a fighting chance." Dr. Julian said.

"Remember, Garmadon doesn't know we're on the island. It's imperative that you stay out of sight." Sensei said. "Of course, Sensei. Don't worry. Have you ever known us to veer from a plan, huh?" Jay said.

Misako, Sensei Wu, Lloyd and I dead stared at them, "Ninja..." Sensei and I shushed them, "Do you want us to get caught?" I asked. "Go..." They whispered and left. I sighed as Sensei Wu, Nya, Misako and Dr. Julian leave as well.

I turned to Lloyd and he sighed, "You okay, Lloyd?" I frowned a bit. "Yeah, it's just, I'm scared." He sat down. I sat net to him and listened, "I know I have to fight my father, and... it's inevitable. But.." I moved closer and hugged him. He hugged back, "You don't have to explain. I know it's hard for you but, it can't be helped, it's foretold in the scrolls and the prophecy can't really be changed."

He nodded and let go, I smiled and saw Lloyd tear up. I sighed and kissed Lloyd, he widened his eyes and kissed back. We pulled away and I cupped his face, "Just know, we're here. And I'll always love you. Okay?" He smiled and nodded.
