Chapter-20

The dark clouds were covering the sky giving the look as if it might rain soon, it was yet another day in my oh-so-lovely life.. note the sarcasm, well it hasn't been lovely for quite a few time. Meh.

I was currently walking down the hallway passing the classes on one side and the pillars on the other which lead to the front field, where mostly everyone spent their leisure time, talking to my dad. It felt good talking to him after these many days. Dad certainly new how to cheer me up. The last thing I wanted right now was coming face-to-face with Sehun. Ugh.. it certainly won't go well.

I was smiling hearing him tell me my mother's recent tales and occasionally laughing when I heard her yell from behind at him to shut up and to which in turn she received my father's teasing remarks making her go even mad. Oh lord, they make the best pair. I was laughing so hard

"alright alright dad.. that's enough for today please spare mum for now"

He started laughing

"well if it wasn't her who brought to on her self by doing her childish antics"

When suddenly

*Dhum*

"Steven!"

I heard some shuffling and I thought his phone fell down, I frowned not until I heard my dad

"Oh gosh! Julia! What was that for!? That pillow hit me hard!"

I started laughing, omg this is so funny. I laughed even harder as I stopped on my tracks when I heard my mother constantly shouting at him in embarrassment which made him laugh too. She's so adorable.. haha

"okay okay.. that's enough you guys!"

I said out amused to which Dad just chuckled. He took a breath to calm himself down and then spoke again

"so how is it going on there?"

"uh.. just going on like that... what can I say?"

"hmm I get it.. what about sehun?"

I had already told my dad about my decision regarding sehun and basically he knows about the letter too, I just had to share with him. My mom doesn't know any single thing about any of this. I looked down as I sighed and just when I started

"He's-"

I bumped into somebody. I stumbled back composing myself and standing straight as my eyes traveled up and saw the person's face

".. alright, i.. guess"

I continued slowly still stunned as I saw the person and in surprise. Who else could it be? The only person I had wished not to cross paths with today. Oh Se Hun. I froze as I met my gaze with his and without breaking the eye-contact I just spoke on the phone

"um.. hey, dad? I'll call you later ok?"

"oh sure princess, take care"

And we hung up. I felt the atmosphere become eerily silence and awkwardness fell in, believe me it felt so uncomfortable. I just averted my gaze awkwardly clearing my throat slightly and looked down at the floor side-ways clearly not wanting to look at him.

I muttered an almost in-audible 'im sorry' and tried to walk away but just then I passed him he caught my arm by my elbow. I froze.. I heard make a 'tsk' sound.

"not gonna even apologize after bumping into me?"

He said as I saw him turn to face me through my peripheral vision.
