Chapter-23

The car ride passed by in an awful silence amongst us, the ironic thing is once these same car rides were filled were laughter, smiles and talks, pleasurable moments and enjoying each other's accompany. I was still apologetic and in between fidgeting with my fingers but then gave up thinking of the way he acted towards me.

We reached the school gates and entered the premises as he made way to the parking slot. As soon as he had parked and turned off the engine I got out, shutting the door and waited for him to get out. We walked together and as we stepped in the halls we were greeted by the busy mob of students I looked around to catch a glimpse of my friends and when I did I sighed in relief and turned to sehun, who was just called over by Kris, Tao and Luhan and Xing Hwan

"I'll get going.. bye"

I turned to walk only to be held back by him, as he held on to my elbow. I closed my eyes thinking what more does he want after the entire drama. I slowly turned and looked at him opening my eyes and was startled seeing him so close to me.

"why say bye?.. we'll be meeting each other later"

He said with a smile and leaving me walked away and leaving me with my heart fluttering seeing his smile after such a long time, my mouth open staring at his back as he walked to his group. Okay.. so sehun just... smiled? What.

And besides how in the world does that smile still have an effect on me?

I was still flabbergasted as I turned on my heels shutting my mouth and walking away but it then hit me 'meeting each other soon' what did he mean by that? I was still wondering until I reached my friends and bumped into Lay. I got back to my senses before breaking into a grin and muttering a 'sorry' as the rest laughed. We exchanged our good morning and they all engaged themselves in talks again until

"you didn't come by your car?"

Jongin asked me, how does he know?

"huh? How do you know?"

"I just came from there after receiving Suho hyung from there and I didn't see your car"

"ahhh.. Yeah I didn't actually"

They all shot me confused glances

"then how did you come?"

Chen asked

"uhhh.. Sehun drove me here"

"WHAT!?"

While some exclaimed

"WHO!?"

And I flinched back a little at the sudden raise in the voices and then nodded and then all became silent until Suho decided to speak up

"what happened?"

I took a breath and spoke up

"I agreed with his proposal"

"You WhAt!?"

"are you dumb!?"

They all knew what I was referring to but they didn't know everything, like not about the party thing neither about the day before it, they just knew about that so-called 'slave' proposal he had brought up. I shook my head at them..

"why, you guys agreed with my motive behind me agreeing long back now didn't you?"

Another silence fell in as they all looked at each other, meeting eyes and then some sighed and looking at me they all nodded in approval. I smiled and shrugged.
