The Doctor, Amy, Sherlock and John had been flying around in the TARDIS for hours. John, Sherlock and Amy were sitting in various spots around the TARDIS, watching the Doctor run around the time machine. The Doctor fiddled around with the controls with a minute, then pulled a lever and opened the doors before closing the doors and repeated the entire process.

Eventually, the Doctor jumped up and punch his fist into the air in celebration, startling the rest of the group.

"I've got it!" he shouted. "Come on everybody!"

The Doctor shoved Amy, Sherlock and John out of the TARDIS. They emerged into the entrance of a cave. Further up, the cave split into two parts. Amy and John looked at it in confusion. Amy spun around and grabbed the Doctor angrily.

"WHERE ARE WE?!?" Amy shouted at him. "WHERE'S RORY!?!"

"Calm down, calm down!" the Doctor yelped, putting his hands up in the universal sign for surrender. "This is the entrance. I promise."

"IT'S A MAZE!" Amy yelled at him, now positively shaking with rage. John and Sherlock took a step back.

"Yeah....," the Doctor admitted. "But don't worry, I've got a plan to get through it."

"Oh, really?" Amy growled. "And whats that?"

"I am glad you asked," the Doctor told her. He turned to Sherlock. "Sherlock! What's the best way for getting out of a maze?"

Sherlock stayed quiet for a moment, pressing his fingers to his temples and bending down slightly. Both Amy and the Doctor gave him a confused look. John huffed in frustration.

"He's gone to him mind palace again," he explained. He motioned toward the other side of the room. "Come on, he wants some privacy."

John led Amy and the Doctor to the other side of the cave and the three of them watched Sherlock from there. Sherlock seemed to be in another world. He constantly moved his hands around in jerky movements and looking around the cave as if he were reading something.

"Hmm," the Doctor hummed, looking impressed. "I've got to try that sometime."

"Please don't," Amy muttered. "You come off insane enough already."

Before the Doctor could answer her, Sherlock snapped back into reality. The other three looked at him expectantly.

"I've got nothing," he told them. "I never saved it."

"SERIOUSLY!?" Amy roared.

"You NEVER thought getting out of a maze would be useful?" John yelled at the same time.

"No," Sherlock hissed back at him. "Funny enough, I never thought I'd get stuck in a maze as a detective!"

"Alright, alright!" the Doctor said, calming them both down. "It's fine, we can think of another way to get through the maze."

The group went silent after that, trying to remember if they knew anything about how to navigate mazes. Eventually, John spoke up.

"I think I might remember something," he said, making the other three turn to him. "I think I heard once that if you keep your hand on the right or left wall then you get out of the maze. I think."

"Brilliant!" the Doctor yelled, clapping. "Come on, then, no time to waste!"

He led the other to the left wall and they got going through the maze. The walls were rocky and jagged, and about five later everyone's hands were red. The floor was also uneven and Amy, John, Sherlock and the Doctor had to go slow in order to not trip. And it really did not help it was mostly dark and the sonic screwdriver didn't give off much light.

they had been moving through the maze for about an hour and a half before the Doctor ran into something hard. He fell backwards with a yelp, accidentally knocking into Sherlock and making the rest of the group topple over.

"Doctor!" Amy hissed.

"Sorry, sorry," he apologized. He stood up again felt around the place he had ran into again, more carefully this time. He grinned to himself when he felt a door knob. He grasped the door knob and turned it, throwing open the door and flooding the cave with light.

Then he turned around, rubbing his hands together and looking absolutely maniacal.

"Well, wasn't that," he told his friends. "Jut a-MAZE-ing?"

"DOCTOR!" Amy yelled. "NOT. THE. TIME!"

"Right," the Doctor muttered, still looking very happy with himself. "Well come one everyone we don't have all day."

The Doctor's three friends slowly got up, and together, they went through the door way.
