"Hey, Sherlock?" John suddenly spoke up. "What do you think of... all this?"

The whole gang was back on the TARDIS, and they were flying, or whatever the TARDIS did, to the next point. The Doctor was by the control panel, 'steering' the TARDIS, and the Ponds were over next to him, conversationing about something, probably the 'planet of the apes' they just left.

And finally, our Baker street boys. Sherlock, not having an acceptable place to do his usual brooding, had leaned against the wall of the TARDIS, trying to look cool and deep in thought that way. John however, being put off by the entire adventure, and gone over to talk, rather begrudgingly, to his friend, startling Sherlock out of his thoughts.

"'All this'?" Sherlock repeated, frowning.

"Yeah, it almost seems... I don't," John sighed. "It feels weird, doesn't it?"

Sherlock didn't quite understand, and he stayed quiet, not wanting to seem out of his depth. John continued, not noticing.

"I don't know," John sighed. "Maybe with everything else I've done, this is a bit...."

"Dull?" Sherlock asked.

"Maybe," John agreed. "I... maybe that's it. I hope that's it."

"What's it, John?" the Doctor called out.

"Er, nothing, Doctor," John assured him.

"Oh you can tell me," the Doctor told him. "Always here to help, me!"

"It's nothing, Doctor," John groaned.

"Don't worry, John, I get it," the Doctor told him kindly. "You're worried that O.C.T.I.V.I.A will secretly turn out to be evil and turn into a murder and kill us all when we free her, right?"

"...Uh, actually, no-."

"Well, you don't have to worry," the Doctor interrupted. "O.C.T.A.V.I.A, for one, isn't human made. And besides, as long as I'm here, nobody, is going to go around hurting ANYBODY-WOAH!"

The TARDIS suddenly jerked to the left, and the Doctor, evidently not expecting that, fell to the ground, along with all the other passengers.

"What in the-?" the Doctor muttered, attempting to climb back up again, but another violent shake, one that didn't end this time, sent him crashing down again. He decided to stay down, and, after a little while, the others followed his example.

"Doctor!" Amy yelled. "What's going on!"

"I don't know!" the Doctor admitted. "Just hold on! I'll think of-."

The TARDIS suddenly stopped, surprising everyone on board.

"Something," the Doctor finished quietly, slowly getting up. The others did too.

"What was that?" John silently whispered, probably not thinking anyone would hear, but Sherlock answered anyway.

"Well, obviously, someone didn't want us to go to our next destination," Sherlock deadpanned, missing the very dirty look he was given.

"No, it wasn't that," the Doctor spoke. Sherlock scowled, and John took on a very smug look. "It was the TARDIS that didn't want us going."

John's face shifted from smug to confused as he look to Sherlock, who was frowning. The Doctor, catching their exchanged, explained: "O.C.T.A.V.I.A isn't the only machine to become self aware."

Pretending to ignore, but thoroughly enjoying, John's surprised expression and Sherlock's quick looks around the control room, the Doctor turned to the Ponds.

"You two alright?" he asked. "No broken bones, no bruises? Good old Ponds. Indestructible, that's what you two are."

Rolling her eyes at the Doctor s rambling, Amy asked: "Where are we, Doctor?"

The Doctor frowned, looking around at the TARDIS. "I don't know," he replied, then he brightened. "But there's only one way to find out, right?"

Straightening his bow tie, the Doctor walked smartly to the TARDIS doors.

"That seems like a bad idea," Rory commented.

"Everything's a bad idea," the Doctor admitted. "But we'll do it anyway!"

The Ponds sighed, and followed him. The Baker street boys, after exchanging glances, followed them as well.

The Doctor, all confidence and swagger, walked up to the door and grasped the handles. Before he opened the doors, he turned to his companions.

"All ready?!" he called.

After a nod from the passengers, he turned back to the doors, and opened them.
