Amy and Sherlock walked through the halls together, hopefully toward Rory. Amy was fidgeting with her red shirt nervously while Sherlock was trying to concentrate on getting to the jail cell. He would never admit it, but he was getting anxious, too. The place was almost as bad as the cave maze, with all it's dead ends and turns. It was extremely complicated, but at least it had lights.

However, that's not what was worrying Sherlock, though. No, the thing that had been on Sherlock's mind the most was the complete lack of life, human or otherwise. The entire thing looked abandoned. But... if it was abandoned, who locked up Rory?

Amy had been thinking the same thing. She continuously looked down different hallways and into different rooms, half hoping there was somebody, anybody, there. But everyplace she looked was deserted. Her nervousness grew with every step that echoed through the corridor.

Eventually, they came to a a circular steel door.

"He's in here," Sherlock told her in his usual monotone voice, nodding toward the door.

"Alright," Amy said. "Okay, that means the Doctor and John should be opening it soon. Probably."

They waited for a few minutes, the only sound being Amy tapping her foot angrily.

"Today, Doctor," Amy muttered.

They waited another couple minutes.

"What the hell are they doing?!" Amy growled, trying to not march over to the control room and punch the Doctor' and John's faces in.

"Be patient," Sherlock told her.

More minutes passed.

"Okay, either something wrong, or the Doctor is fooling around again," Amy decided. "We should probably find them. Come on."

Sherlock didn't reply to her and Amy gave him a irritated look.

"Well?" she asked. "Are you coming-"

"Quiet," Sherlock interrupted suddenly.

"E-excuse me?" Amy asked, a little startled.

"Quiet," Sherlock repeated, lowing his voice. "Did you hear that?"

Amy froze, listening as hard as she could. Further down the hallway, she suddenly heard a small noise. So small she never would have noticed it on her own.

She glanced at Sherlock, silently asking what it was.

"It's a humanoid furry thing," he told her quietly. "And it's injured."

"Um, okay.... then," Amy said, a tad but impressed. "Do you think it's dangerous?"

"I can't tell," Sherlock answered. "But it's coming this way."

"Oh great, well, should we help it or should we hide-"

"Shh, there it is."

The two of them fell silent as a furry, elephant, human-like creature stepped into the corridor. If it was walking you could almost confuse it for a giant stuffed animal.

"It doesn't look injured," Amy observed, looking over the weird elephant thing. It didn't seem to have any cuts, bruises or blood that she could see.

"Then why is it walking like that?" asked Sherlock, staring at it's feet. Amy looked down, too, and discovered that the elephant monster was almost limping. Well, not completely, just dragging one of it's legs, but the way it was walking would suggest it was just learning how to. It's walk was similar to that of a toddlers, basically.

"HEY!" Amy yelled suddenly, almost making Sherlock jump. "YOU GET RORY OUT OF THIS CELL RIGHT NOW, YOU HEAR ME?!?"

"Amy," Sherlock warned, but it was too late. It seemed that the damage was done. 'Idiot' Sherlock thought angrily.

The elephant creature stopped walking, or whatever it was doing. It stood in the middle of the hallway, just watching them. Neither Sherlock nor Amy moved a muscle.

'Somethings wrong' Sherlock thought staring at the monster. 'Why isn't it attacking?..... Unless...'

Sherlock spun around, and just in time, too. He duck just as a furry arm tried to clobber him.

"Amy, LOOK OUT!" Sherlock yelled in warning and Amy managed to sidestep a swing that was going her way.

"Uh oh," Amy realized as she looked around. There were at least 50 of the furry monsters, and surprisingly some humans. However, the humans did not react to any eye contact at all. Amy and Sherlock were surrounded.
