"Fuck what do we do?" Louis asked.
"I don't know. I'm out of ideas!" I said.
"We are trapped." Mitch said.
"Yes you are. And you're going to become best friends with my little friend." He held out a butcher knife.
Why does that suit him?
I couldn't think of anything to do. I just kinda froze up. He blocked the only exit and he tied me down.
"You guys are useless now that your leader is not in control anymore."
Everyone was silent until Louis spoke
"She's not our leader."
"Of course She is, shes been directing you."
"That's because our real leader is still out there."
What is he talking about?
I just stayed silent, I hope he knows what he's doing.
"You're lying, there's no one else."
"Maybe that's what we want you to think."
"You guys are just trying to trick me."
"Really? Have you heard anything from your men since you got here?" Louis asked. The bosses eyes went wide for a split second.
Louis was faking him out. Siking him out! He's a genius!
"Stay here!" The boss growled and then walked out.
He slammed the door and Ruby untied me.
"Louis you're brilliant!"
"I try." He smirked.
"We don't have much time. Let's go."
I opened the door and we walked out carefully, we ducked around the corners and made our way out. There was a soldier in front of us, I loaded my bow and shot for the head.
"Nice." Tenn said after she was down.
"Go." We all were on the last floor before the exit.
"Come on. There's our escape!"
"Wait! I have one bomb left." Mitch said.
"For what?"
"For the base."
"Mitch we don't have time." I said.
"I know you may not, but i do."
I think I knew what he was saying.
"Mitch no. Don't even think about it."
"I have to. It's to keep you guys safe."
"Mitch if you don't follow my orders!"
He grabbed my shoulders.
"You're not my mom. I'm keeping you safe."
"Mitch no!" He turned and ran away.
"Come on. We have to go." Louis said grabbing my hand.
"But Mitch is-"
"Mitch made his choice!" Louis said.
We ran out of the base and I looked at the base as the bomb went off. It smashed to pieces. My eyes welt up with tears as I knew that there was no way he lived through that.
I ran back to the school. I couldn't see it anymore.
"Y/n! Y/n!" Louis said as he ran to me.
"He's gone. He did it for us." I said as I gripped onto him as I cried.
"I know. I know." Louis said as he stroked my hair.
"He was like the brother I always wanted. And now he's gone."
