GOLDEN MORNING

I woke the next morning wrapped tightly in Logan's arms. He was still sound asleep, his eyes sweetly closed as golden rays flood the room illuminating his messy brown hair.

I quietly get out of bed and walk over to the window. I draw the curtains, the room immediately filled with warmth from the rising sun. As I am standing there I feel Logan's muscular arms wrap around my waist.

A smile spreads across my face as I turn to face him.

I lay my head on his bare chest as the morning light fills the rest of the room. "So what should we do today?" I say looking up at Logan running my fingers through his hair. "We could go down to the pier it's supposed to be a nice day today." Logan says kissing my forehead.

"Sounds perfect" we should go now so we can watch the sunrise."  I say turning my head back toward the window, seeing the beautiful colors begin to erupt the sky.

"But first", says Logan still holding my waist pulling me closer. "I love you" Logan tells me so softly that all you could hear were just the quiet waves from outside the window. "I love you too" not even attempting to whisper as I jump into his arms and kiss his lips softly before he lays me down on the unmade bed.

Seems like hours go by while our lips softly touch, our legs tangled together and our messy hair all over the place, from last nights dreams, while holding each other during the night.

"We should probably get going before the sun comes up" I softly say giggling.

"Your right guess we got a little carried away." Logan says looking deeply into my eyes.

We get up from the bed and I put on one of Logan's T-shirts that go to my knees because Logan's so tall. But it's one of my favorite things.

Logan dose the same and we slip on our shoes and grab a blanket since it's a little chilly this morning, and head out.

We get to the beach and find a good spot in the sand to watch the sunrise.

I lay my head on Logan's shoulder as we get cozy with the blanket wrapped around us.

It seemed like we were the only two souls on that beach and I wanted it to last forever. Just me, Logan and the ocean breeze.
