Sad Poetry

You're Numb

Lost to emotion,
Not even motivated enough to do nothing,
You stare at the wall hoping
That someday soon you'll feel something.

I look as you walk past,
Shoulders slumped,
I want to tell you that it won't last,
But nothing helps when you're numb.
