If we had but just a moment,
Our gazes would meet and hold,
I'd grab your hand and we would sit,
Your eyes would melt like gold,

If we had but just a moment,
I'd wrap you in my arms,
We would reminisce,
I would keep you safe from harm.

If we had but just a moment,
The moment we never had,
I'd throw my arm over your shoulder,
And share a final laugh...
