Taste

You should taste the words inside your mouth,
At least a bit before spitting them out,
Cruelty words spoken in shout,
Keep pushing us away and we may choose to stay out,

The fallen cried "abuse!"
But I said "no," I protected you,
Now as cruelty is spread like poison blew,
I question my stance, I question you,

Things I can't understand, have left your lips,
I stand up for them and me with hands on my hips,
I will never stand for this,

You have pushed the line too far,
So it thicker we will draw,
and if you cross it ever again,
I will move to the place where I'm treated with respect.
