Open Mind

chapter six

Kamaria's POV

I was in a comfortable and soft bed, I opened my eyes and groaned, my head was pounding,

everywhere was dark, I tried to remember what I did yesterday till all the horrible things that happened to me came back hitting me like a truck, I gasp remembering all the scenes that appeared in my mind, I started shaking and crying, I don't know where I was and I needed my best friend with me now, I started screaming trying to stop myself from remembering what happened hours ago.

A guy came running into the room walking towards me,

"no no please go away, get away from, please don't touch me" I was screaming and crawling to the corner of the room,

"Hey it's me Kamaria, it's just me, please calm down ok?" I didn't recognize the voice at first but now I do,

it was the guy with the grey eyes in my college and it scared me more, I cried the more,

" please leave me alone I did nothing to you just get away from me" my breathing was becoming weak and short,

I was so tired of everything already, I just came to California for one month and this is what was happening to me,

" hey breath baby, c'mon just breath with me ok?" he said walking towards me,

He came closer and sat next to me lifting me up, I was now on his laps straddling him listening to his heart beat which was calming me down,

" That's it, good job baby, relax" he kept encouraging me,

He was now rubbing my back with one hand and the other hand was holding my waist in a  protective way, after a while I started felling sleepy so I raised my head from his chest and tried to give each other some space but he held my waist tighter not allowing me to go,

"You're not going anywhere" he whispered sternly, I stare at him with the little light that was coming from the opened door.

James POV

I was walking down the stairs of Jude's house when suddenly I heard a girl muffled scream from one of the guest rooms, I decided to go see what's going on,

I opened the door and what I saw made the beast inside of me come out and all i saw was red, I saw her lying naked with only panties and bra crying she looked so weak, he was trying to rape her, I ran towards him taking him away from her and started beating the shit of out him,

I was so angry, the punches I gave him were becoming stronger, he made a very big mistake touching her, I was suddenly lifted up from him he was bleeding really bad and I felt satisfied,

" James calm down we will handle him go help her she's having an anxiety attack go!" I stared at Jude,

" what's her name now?" I said anger still rushing through me,

" it's Kamaria" I turned around and took my jacket off and going towards Kamaria,

she's not moving anymore and I quickly walked towards her, I think she fainted thank God she's breathing. I covered her and lifted her up bridal style and walking out of the room,

" James where are you taking her to? Oh my God I should've have stayed close to her all the night I brought her here!" He said with a voice of remorse and regret,

" I'm taking her to my house she's not safe here" I said not even stopping I just left them there,

I needed to leave the house before I kill that guy that almost raped her.

I looked down at her, she had her brows squinted together and tears streaming down her closed eyes, she was afraid and that made me more pissed. I Entered my car and drove off, I don't know what came over me but I decided to protect her from now on.
