chapter twenty

James POV

I left the gym at 2:50 pm, I went back home and she was not still there, I went straight to the bathroom took a quick shower and relaxed on my bed watching tv on my tv screen that was facing my bed, everything feels so strange for some reason, I signed and got up, went to the kitchen to look for something to eat, something simple I was too tired to cook so I decided to order chines food and waited in the living room.
I was texting my father informing him about the company and all of that, I got bored and called kalisha to check up on Kamaria, the phone ringed and she answered at the third ring,
" hey kalisha was wondering if kamaria is ok she told me she was coming home in the morning but she never showed up"
"Hey James! Oh she's fine, I just came back from my classes and I saw her sleeping on the couch she probably over slept she would be coming soon don't worry and I will tell her you called"
" yeah ok that's fine thanks"
"No worries bye"
"Ok bye"
I signed in relief, the was a knock on the door, I know it was the delivery guy so I took my money and opened the door,
" good evening, here is your order!"
"Thanks and keep the change" his eyes lighten up and smiled thanking me again before leaving, I went back to my room and sat on my bed, eat and watched the tv.

It was now 4:30 pm, I already at and I just laid there watching movies till my phone rang, I looked at it and saw it was from kalisha, I picked it up, I was ready to say hello when she started sobbing,
"James please come we are going to the hospital the ambulance is coming I don't know what happened she's not waking up just come I need help!!"
I got up alarmed,
" what? What do you mean she's not waking up?? Is it Kamaria?? Fuck! I'm coming there if I don't see you I'll come to the hospital"
I then hung up, I took my keys and ran outside and got in my car speeding away.
I was fucking angry, I should have gone there earlier and now I don't fuking know what she meant by she's not waking up, my heart beat increased, I hit the steering wheel,
" fucking hell!!" I shouted frustrated,
" Nothing is going to happen to her she's fine" I kept telling my self to calm myself down, I was there in no time I ran to the door and started banging on the door,
" kalisha!!?, kalisha open up!!" I kept knocking on the door harshly till she came and opened the door,
"Where is she?" I asked looking around fanatically,
" she's in her room" she said through sobs, I ran to her room an saw her on the floor covered with towels, I ran towards her and knelt down in front of her,
" Kamaria??" I touched her face and felt it so cold,
" Fuck!!what did you do?" I put her close to me trying to wake her up,
" baby c'mon wake up I'm here!!" Still no answer, I heard the ambulance and some of the came in,
"Sir you need to step aside we need to see her" he said too calmly,
" the Fuck you mean? I'm not leaving her I'm taking her to the hospital now, her pulse is becoming slower by the minute!" I shouted at him glaring at him with rage, I wanted to rip his head off,
" Sir that's our job to do something move to one side" the were already taking her away from my arms and taking her away,
" I'm coming with her!" I Said following them down the stairs,
" no your not, the person that called us is coming with her and I guess she's a close friend" he said then turned away following his co workers, the entered the ambulance, I saw kalisha crying holding Kamaria's hand,
I quickly went to my car following behind them mean while I called Jude,
" hey man what's up?"
" come to the hospital" I said coldly and then hung up.
We arrived at the hospital me hot behind the they took her to the emergency room, they stopped kalisha from entering, I went to her, as soon as she sees me she fell to the ground sobbing but I ran to her and held her before she touched the ground, I understand how she's helpless in this situation,
" it's going to be fine Jude is here lets go and wait with him" she nodded and held me as we walked to the waiting room.
Like I expect he was there with Mark, when the saw us the stood up and came to us knowing already who is hurt.
Kalisha went to Jude and hugged him tight,
" I don't want to loose her" she kept repeating the sentence over and over again,
"No one is losing anyone ok?" Jude said as he kissed her forehead and rubbed her back, I went to sit down as Mark followed me, we sat down there in silence till he spoke up,
" what happened?" He was clearly angry, he saw Kamaria as a little sister so I know this situation got everyone really hard.
" I really don't know what happened, I just went to their house and saw her on the floor unconscious with water on the floor she was covered with towels."
" was... was she trying to drown herself?" He said not sure if it's the right question to ask, just thinking of what he said fuelled my anger,
" I hope she did not fucking do that".

Kalisha explained everything and what she saw, I was a bit relieved when she said shower instead of the bathtub, but It was still not clear to me, I know I'm the cause of it, I was not suppose to let her see me like that yesterday but then again what was her motive?
"Kalisha do you think she did this on purpose?"I asked lowly to steady my anger, she got up quickly and came up to me wanting to slap me for what I said, but Jude was quick to hold her back,
"Did I fucking hear you well?" She laughed bitterly,
" you don't know her James, she would never you know why? Because she's Kamaria, that's not a thing for her to do, you think she would kill herself because you dumb ass decided to ignore for no reason!"
"Watch your mouth!" I warned her,
"Guess what James no! She did not and never will, she had and still has demons that are bigger that yours and mine and she wakes up every fucking day with a smile on her face, and do you know what that is called? It's called strength, I know her very well if she had those thought in mind" she shook her head laughing again and looked at me with eyes filled with anger,
"She would have been long gone. You don't know her past you know nothing about her James so I advise you to fucking think of what comes out of your mouth".
She loose her grip from Jude and stormed out of the hospital.
I looked at both Jude and Mark before shaking their head.
" you gain trust by giving trust" said Mark, he stood up and said he was going to go look for her.

We've been waiting in her for like 3 hours waiting for the doctors answer, kalisha came back after an hour not talking to anyone not even Jude, I closed my eyes and signed deeply.
The doors opened and the doctor came in with a blank face, it was hard to know what he was about to tell us, kalisha got in front of the doctor asking questions not giving the time for the doctor to answer the questions, Jude went up to her and kissed her telling her she should calm down.
"So I guess you're all her for Kamaria!?" The doctor said, I saw so impatient, we all were and he was not helping with this stupid questions,
"She's fine, you luckily brought her her before her heart stopped, her body is too stressed and without strength because she was having hypothermia but she's fine she might not wake up today maybe in some day's time, depends on how long her body can recover.
