*A81C7's POV*

I'm running. I have to keep going. I can't stop running. I can't start to think. I need to go. Run. And never look back.

Everywhere is chaos. The once organized hallways appear like a tornado has swept through, demolishing everything that once was. Bodies litter the floor, some dead, some unconscious. Blood is everywhere. But I run. If I don't get out, everything is for nothing. Nothing can stop me now.

I can see the door ahead. It's solid, impenetrable, but that won't stop me. I align the limp hand I'm carrying  with the scanner, and the door pops open with a loud beep. I leave the scientists dismembered hand behind. He's too dead to miss it, and I no longer need it.

I see grass. And trees. I hear the sounds of the world. The sounds of life. And I'm a part of it. No longer forced to watch from a window, to see it as nothing but a dream. Because I'm out now, my dream has come true.

I go to the scientist's and doctor's cars, looking for any useful supplies. I've never been outside. I've never been in the world. I need any help I can get. I find some type of currency, which must be useful, and take it, along with a backpack. I also take two bottles of water, a bar of food called 'granola', and what I assume to be some type of fruit. I also take a clothing article, which must be a mens jacket. It will also be useful. I do not know how cold it gets, but I don't like cold.

I continue on my path. I can't stall. I'm out. I must go.

I see the building behind me. The prison I have spent my entire life trapped inside. New Age Labs. My heart is pounding in my chest. I cannot believe I'm alive. I'm made it. I never thought I really would. It was only a foolish hope, a false dream, yet somehow I've done it.

But I will never be safe as long as the doctors live. As long as the scientists are there. As long as the building stands, I could be brought back. Someone could be brought back. As long as the building stands, they can experiment and study inside of it. They can destroy more lives. I cannot let that happen. I must never come back. I will never come back.

I take the chemicals I have stolen. I mix them together, in perfect proportions. Everything must be gone. I must be perfect. Everything is set. I'm ready.

Now I run. While I'm running, I can't help but feel a tinge of a smile forming on my face, for the first time in a long time. No matter the circumstances, I'm alive. I'm here. I've done the impossible. I've made it.

In the distance I hear an explosion. Everything is okay. No person will ever suffer in my old prison again. The building I grew up in is gone. The only place I've ever known is gone. The only people I've ever know are gone. The people who tormented me for years are all dead. No person will suffer them again.

I did it.

I'm free.

I'm alive.

I'm out.

Those that would be future experiments are free.

I can have a life, and I plan to make it a good one.

I can do anything I wish.

And I will.

No one controls me. Never again will I be controlled.
