*A81C7's POV*
We walk into the house, and everyone is staring at one another. Since none of them know each other, and I just disappeared for a day and a half, my roommates must be very confused.
Zac, Axel, and Mila even more so due to the fact that they do not know about me. They do not know about what I can do, or where I grew up. I guess that is a good place to start.
“Hello. I guess I have some explaining to do,” I begin, unsure.
“Hell yea girlie! Ya disappeared! Had us all sorts a worried bout cha,” Mor exclaims.
“Yeah. Well I assume I should first explain about… where I grew up,” I say, sending a questioning glance towards Archer and Mor.
Mor nods slightly, and Archer smiles slightly. They do think that I should tell our friends.
“So, I did not grow up in a nice place. I was an experiment. I grew up in what I know as New Age Labs, with many other experiments. I was in the high risk group, where they tested the most volatile concoctions. Seven of the ten of us were still alive by the time we were eight, but I was the only one who made it to nine. They had an experiment they wanted to test, one they felt hopeful about. They were sure that if it did not kill us it would give us the ability to see the future, which was everything they hoped for,” I explain, keeping all emotion from my face. I do not want anyone to see me cry.
“You can see the future!” Axel yells, excitement dripping from his voice.
“No, I cannot. As far as everyone at New Age was concerned the experiment did nothing, but that is not the truth. I obtained the ability to gain information. Sometimes it is small, random things. However, if I or someone else is in danger, I gain much larger amounts of information. That is how I knew that Ryker, Jett, and Amanda were in danger at Nathan's pack,” I state.
“You went back?” Archer questions.
“I had to, they needed help” I respond.
Archer mutters something under his breath, but I do not hear whatever it was that he said.
“While at the lab, they continued to do experiments to all of us. We were moved together after most of us had died, and it was just J24, O73, N59, M14 and I. One day, we decided to escape. We had a plan. We were sure it would work,” I say, before stopping, my voice choked.
Mor takes a small step closer, so she is at my side, and places a comforting hand on my shoulder. I take a deep breath, and continue speaking.
“We got halfway out before m-my father showed up. He was a scientist at the lab. He murdered J24 and O73, right in front of me. Then he tried to shoot me. I did not move. I did not think, and the bullet almost hit me. It would have hit me, but N59 pushed me, and took the bullet. It killed her. Then it was only me and M14 left. I did not want to go. I did not even move, but he pulled me forward. We were almost out, we were so close. My mother, a doctor, showed up. She had him, knife to his throat. He was all I had. I was going to go back, but he did not allow me to do that for him. He died, for me. I escaped, and blew up the building. Every worker at New Age died. The building is gone. I am the only proof that it ever existed,” I explain, to my partially disbelieving, partially already knowing audience.
“You expect us to just… believe that? Because you say so? I would love to, but… I just can't,” Mila responds, after a short silence.
“I can show you later. Right now I really do need to rest, as all of this blood is mine,” I say, gesturing between myself and other others who have gotten my blood on their clothing, “I need to heal, can we just wait a few hours? While everyone stays here? We do have other very important things to discuss, and I just am unable to right now,” I ask
Jett is the first to respond to the strange request, saying, “You saved me. It might not make sense, but you asked, so I'll stay.”
“I'll make sure everyone stays,” Archer says, supporting me.
Amanda nods, and I know that this means she also trusts me.
I smile slightly, and make my way to my room. I changing my clothing, throwing away the bloody clothing. I then happily lie down in my bed.
Things are hectic, frightening, and confusing but I am alright.
I have my friends, and I have a home.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I know nothing really happens in this part.
I got a little bit of free time and wrote this so... yeah.
