*A81C7's POV*
Being in Mor's house for what may be the last time is quite saddening to me. I have felt safer, more at home, in this home than I ever have in my entire life.
Archer is simply looking about curiously. He has been almost completely silent, thought I am acutely aware that he has quite a few questions. I assume he has just been waiting to ask me them.
I make sure to take clothing for Mor and I, any money that we have, and plenty of food. I grab almost anything that looks useful, also making sure I have a knife in case they find us again. I am not getting kidnapped again, and I would like to keep Archer alive. He seems like a quite alright person. He is the type of person I would have been friend with in an instant at New Age.
I remember that Mor's car was left at the shops, and we cannot get anywhere fast without a car. We needed a new one anyway, one that the wolves had not seen before.
I remember that one of the neighbors I had seen on the way here the very first day had been selling a car. Buying a car with cash should be much less traceable. It will take up a good deal of our money, but we can get jobs once we are settled somewhere.
I first need to know what Archer wishes to do. He may not want to stay with us or he may not want to help us run.
"Archie" I say.
He turns back towards me and says, "What?"
"What do you plan on doing?" I question him.
"What do you mean? Am I not coming wherever you're going?" He asks. He seems disappointed, like he was not invited or welcome. I never said that, though.
"Well, you are plenty welcome to come with Mor and I, and we could find a place somewhere together, or you could take your leave and go to wherever you please. The choice is yours" I tell Archer. He does not really ever have to see us ever again, he does not owe us anything. I would never force someone to stay somewhere they did not want to be as long as I had a choice. It would make me like all the people at New Age, and those stupid wolf men.
"I think I'll stay. You did save me, and you've been nice. You know what you're doing it seems, and I have no one to go to Archer says," before continuing by asking, Also, I don't think you ever told me your name
"No, I did not. I did what any person should do. Call me A," I tell Archer. He seems a little curious of the simple one letter name but does not question it. He probably is fearful of offending me.
"Also, we need a new car. I am going to get one, could you watch Mor? She will be better soon, but for now she will stay like she has been" I inform Archer. He nods in response, and I walk out the door.
Going the few minutes down the street, I attempt to keep looking as small and unmemorable as possible, as well as keeping to the shadowier areas of the street and as far from view as possible.
I do not want anyone to be able to tell any wolves that they saw me, or really anyone to be able to identify me at all. We could end up missing persons, and if the police found us that would bring wolves. I would rather avoid that.
I see the car, which happens to be a mid-sized 7 seater gray van, that is for sale. They seem to just want to get rid of the van, and are asking $4,000. I can probably get it for even cheaper since the paint looks old and it has seemingly been for sale for a long time.
I walk up to the small houses door and knock. After a few minutes a man, looking in his early 30s, answers the door. He is human, too, which is very nice. I am getting quite tired of all this supernatural and ability stuff, I really wanted to put it all behind me permanently. Instead I have a crazy kidnapping stalking wolf man mate.
