*A81C7's POV*
We've been in here for hours. I am simply bored while Mor is still very scared. The guard does not do anything, and I believe it is due to his orders from alpha man. I have not seen any other wolves or people, and I have gained information on out location. We are at the end of the prisoner section in a nicer cell. They keep bad people and people who go against the alpha down there as punishment, and often kill the offenders.
They have not given us food yet, and I am quite tired of it. Mor should not be deprived of food like this. I have often gone without food at the lab, but Mor should not have to.
"Hey!" I yell at the guard. He simply glances at me and ignores me. He does not think I am worth talking to, he thinks I am worthless. He thinks he is special, and he gets angry is he is disrespected. He believes he deserves respect from everyone. For once gaining information is useful, I now know how to get his attention.
"Hey, ugly, stop ignoring me!" I shout. He looks annoyed, it is working.
"So stupid, I know you got the worst job here guarding two little girls, because that is all they think you can handle, but you should still not ignore us little boy" I tell him. He now looks very infuriated and I believe he will reply. Good.
"You listen here girl, you ain't know shit, and you better learn your place" He snarls.
"He speaks! Finally, now you are listening. I am hungry, now. I would like some food" I state simply.
"You don't tell me what to do girl, so shuddup" He responds, still angry.
Mor then looks up at me, and seems to think I am crazy for talking to him. I just shake my head, so that she will not try to talk or help. I have got this.
"Okay buddy, I know this sucks, but I am just hungry. I only called you stupid to get you to respond and pay attention, for the record. You seem okay enough until someone is to make you mad. Could you just get me some food, please?" I try to ask nicely. He seems calmer, but I do not think he likes me.
"I am supposed to guard this post, that is what I'll do" He replies.
"Seriously, I do not even know why I am in a cell this time. Stupid strange man just took us" I say.
"This time?" He asks, seeming more interested. It worked, he wants more information. Mor seems very confused, and I just mouth 'later' to her. He should want to do what I ask now.
"I want food. Maybe I would tell you if I was not so hungry, I haven't eaten for more than two days" I tell him, and he now seems to be more open to the idea of leaving, and getting food.
"Okay... But I'll be right back, and yous better not try anything" He informs me.
He then walks away, but he did not lock the panel. I can see outside of the cell. This is my chance.
I look around the ground, and then peer down at the lock mechanism. It is a large metal bar that drops down to go across the length of the door, along with a lock that I do not see the key for. I can now open the door, I know what everything looks like and will be able to move it precisely. I have that start of a plan, but now is not the time. I need more information, a more finished plan.
Mor seems to be wondering what I am doing. I need to make sure no one else can hear, and if she was to get surprised now no one is close enough to hear unless she screams. She needs to know some.
I wave her close, and then whisper "I can open this door now."
She does not seem to believe me, which is reasonable. "We're locked in boo, you gotta be joking" She responds.
Now is a good time. "Watch, stay quiet" I state. I then point at the pillow across the room, and slowly, carefully, lift it into the air with my telekinesis. Mor looks faint, and slightly frightened.
"It is alright, it was me, I will save us." I tell Mor even quieter than before.
"What... But.. How- no. It's not possible... You..." Mor mutters, stuttering and struggling to form a complete sentence.
"Another thing for later Mor. It is okay, I am still the same person. It is possible. We must stop talking, the guard is coming back. He cannot hear us, they must think we will not attempt escape, that we cannot escape, okay?" I ask a slightly less pale Mor. She nods and the stares at the pillow again, as if this is a dream she will awake from or a joke that will be revealed. It is not.
I hear the guard next to the door, and then two large trays of food get slid through. Mor seems to forget all about me, devouring the food as fast as she can. I take an apple and sip on some of the water. The guard seems to be waiting for an explanation, but I obviously have to lie.
"So, what's this about your last cell girl? You a criminal?" He asks.
"No, when I was seven I witnessed a horrible crime" I start. That is not a lie. When I was seven I saw another murder at the lab, they were not uncommon. I continue "They did not know if I was involved, but thought I was, so they put me in a cell and questioned me for a while before I was let out" I finish. That is also true, they thought I killed her and interrogated me for weeks. I convinced them I did not eventually, and the doctors allowed me to live.
The guard man just looks at me, then questions "What was it? A robbery or something? Were you involved?"
I wonder if it would be better to play innocent or intimidate him. Intimidation might be better, but not too much.
"It was way worse than a robbery, and they never found the perpetrator" I reply, which is also true.
"What was it?" He asks, looking conflicted.
"Murder" I say nonchalantly.
He then looks slightly disbelieving, but more astounded. He also seems at a loss for words.
"Oh... This was worth bringing you lunch" He states, and I then gain some more information. Wolves can communicate telepathically with people they have a connection with, and they report information to the alpha. I do not want the alpha to hear this.
"So, you do know that no one should ever know about this, right? Not even your little leader man?" I say to the guard. I cannot reveal that I know about them, that would make them too curious. It is safer to pretend to not know anything.
"Yeah, sure, secrets safe with me girl" he says, a slight smile tugging at his lips.
"A" I say.
"A what?" He questions.
"My name, call me A" I say, he then turns and goes back to being the silent guard. I liked the first one better, he just did what I said.
Mor has almost finished eating all the food, but she has left me some chips. I go over, eat them, and then begin to formulate a plan, I need to concentrate, and I need to gain information. I need to finish my plan.
