*A81C7’s POV*

I wake up to see that it is morning, and I have slept for almost an entire day. I guess getting kidnapped really does exhaust people.

Archer is sitting on his bed with a cell phone that he must have gotten at some point, presumably playing some game like Mor sometimes does and the people on television sometimes do. I have never used a cell phone to play games, it could be an interesting thing to do sometimes.

I do not see Mor in our room, which probably means that she has left to go find some food.

“Good morning Archie” I greet. He looks up from the phone and sees me awake.

“Morning. Wanna go get some food? I didn't want to go without someone I know. I feel weird being in a new pack” He tells me. It makes sense, his last pack did not particularly like him, and he was tortured.

“Sure. We should find Mor too” I reply, and we walk out of our room.

After a few minutes of blindly wandering around, we find a kitchen and dining room. There are quite a few people in the dining room, but not quite as many as I suspect there are earlier in the morning when everyone is getting up and eating.

I look around the room and spot Mor talking with some other people. She seems to be having fun and making some new friends, so I leave her to it. She is a very social and friendly person, unlike me, so I do not want to bother her.

I see some food and walk over to it, making myself a plate consisting of bacon, sausage, eggs, and a piece of bread with jelly. I dislike toast, and prefer to eat my bread as it is.

Archer makes himself his own plate, with the main item being bacon, along with a pancake.

I go and sit down away from most the people, and Archer sits down next to me. We eat in silence for a few minutes before I decide to speak.

“You do not have to eat with me, you can go get to know some new people like Mor is” I tell him.

“Yeah, I could, but I would feel bad leaving you alone. I don’t really need new friends, and I can meet new people another time anyways” He replies.

“Alright then, but do not prevent yourself from having fun or meeting new people just because of me” I say to him.

“I won’t” He says, before turning and looking to the other side. I follow his gaze and see that Mor has left the people she was talking with and is now approaching us.

She sets her plate down in front of us, and greets Archer and I with a nod.

“Hey Mor, why are you with us instead of your new friends?” I ask her, wondering why she left them when they seemed to be having quite a bit of fun.

“I wanted t’ eat with you guys, duh! We’ve eaten together almost everyday since, well since we got kidnapped, and even before that you usually made me breakfast A! You really think I’mma leave you guys behind for some new friends?” She says.

“Well, your new friends probably would not get you kidnapped quite as often” I respond.

“Ahhh, shut up. You shouldn’t blame yourself for that, it isn’t anyone’s fault but the kidnappers, A, and you can’t blame yourself for what they do. Plus, as long as I’m kidnapped with you, everything seems to turn out alright. You really just made my life more exciting” Mor tells me, and I feel better about having dragged her into all of this. Maybe it really is not that bad.

“Yeah, I agree with Mor. I would rather get kidnapped with you than hang out with some other people anyday” Archer tells me.

We all are almost finished eating, and we go back to our room. I feel like I should, like I have to tell them about my name. It still really bothers me that I do not have a real one, and A makes a lot of people ask about it since it is only a letter. I really do not like it too much at all.
