Michael's POV
As I was getting dressed in my dressing room my son walked in
"Hey"
"Moms supposed to come tonight, did you know?"
"Yea I know , hows my hair look"
My son looked at me laughing
"You trying to look good for mom?"
"No I'm trying to look good in general"
"Mhm well did you know she ended up giving birth a few days ago"
"Yes I did actually because she would not be apart of this tour if she was still pregnant"
"So you putting your foot down now"
"Yup now close my door on your way out"
When I heard him shut the door behind him I seen my brother walking in the hall way and pulled him into my dressing room
"Hey!"
"Oh shut up, how do I look?"
"Good... why? Ohhhh cause Diana is gonna be here tonight huh"
"No I just wanna look good"
"Yea for Diana"
"No stupid for my fans"
"Mhmmm and Diana"
"If I say Diana will you shut up?"
"Maybe"
"Maybe okay maybe a little bit for Diana"
"I knew it"
"Shut up"
"You know she's married"
"Mhm"
"So don't do nothing"
"I'm not I respected the fact that she's married but that don't mean I can't look"
My brother shook his head at me
"But that does me you can't be touching"
"Wanna bet"
"No"
"Exactly"
"You know everyone can see what your"
"I know" I laughed looking at him smiling putting on my sunglasses
"It looks good too" I said he shook his head
"Ew no. Your nasty Michael"
"A little , anyways who do we got in the crowd any good fish?"
"Yea a few"
"Which one should I pull up to the stage with me tonight?"
My brother pointed at this woman sitting next to Chaka Khan and Luther Vandross
"Yea she'll work I guess"
As I got on stage I looked out at all my fans and smiled
"How ya doin"
Then as soon as I started dancing to things I do for you the thing I least expected happened Chaka Kahn was screaming she loved me then threw her underwear at me I grabbed them laughing starting to dance closer to the girl sitting next to her smiling Chaka couldn't stand it and the girl was enjoying every minute of it
"Hey beautiful , can I come down there?"
Then she's out of my life started playing and for some reason when I started singing it this time tonight it wasn't like any other night I would sing it because I knew Diana was in the crowd

Evan's POV
As my mother walked in half way through the show I brought her to her seat
"shouldn't I be backstage?"
"I'll bring you back there in a min just wait until dad finishes this song"

Diana's POV
As the song ended I rushed backstage putting on my dress getting ready for my duet with Michael I just can't stop loving you
I know he must have picked this song on purpose or at least that's what I thought, while I was getting ready I couldn't zip my dress I called Evan into the room to help me zip up my dress
"Dad keeps looking at you"
"He can look at me I don't mind"
"You know you guys are in the same hotel too"
"we are?"
"Yes so I'm setting this rule now you and dad cannot be in each other's rooms"
"We won't be"
Like anything would even happen if we did
we're co parenting and we're friends nothing would happen even if I did

Michael's POV
"Come on Diana were on"
"Give me a min my dress is stuck"
I rolled my eyes snapping my fingers getting back on the stage starting to sing the beginning of the song and as soon as she walked onto the stage my hands got sweaty and I couldn't help but look at her damn could I really still be hung up on her ... no I can't be I can get through this then she started to sing as she started to sing I got behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist singing
"I just can't stop loving you and if I stop then tell me just what would I do cause I just can't stop loving you"
Without even thinking about it I put my hand on top of hers starting to rock side to side just feeling her hand put the biggest smile on my face but I turned so she couldn't see then as I looked into her singing I laughed at my brother and son watching my shaking there heads no but at this point I couldn't help it I had to hold back my urge to kiss her so I grabbed her and hugged her tightly then made my exit towards the stage. As I drank my water I couldn't help but laugh at myself, was I really still in love with this woman and how could I be after everything that happened I shouldn't still have these feelings but I do. Backstage my brother and son were waiting in my room
"No no no no Michael I seen the way you were looking at her" my brother said
"I don't know what your talking about"
I laughed drinking my water
"Yes you do dad I seen you looking at mom as if she was the only person in the room, don't do it your just gonna get hurt" my son said
I rolled my eyes at both of them
"Yea yea anyways I'll see you guys later I'm going to my hotel"
