I frowned trying to find some excuse to tell her I wasn't attached to her that I didn't feel the need to be near her every second , that when her sisters would take her from me I would get frustrated and some what jealous because I didn't have her beside me, shit maybe she's right but I'm not gonna say that. I'm gonna just play it cool

"I know you'll break first babe , you'll come looking for me"

I tried to laugh it off waiting for her to leave the house, as I heard the door shut behind her I ran to my girls rooms pulling my daughter Diane to the side
"Hi princess"
"Hi daddy"
"Do you think you can help daddy with something"
"Sure dad what is it?"
"It's nothing I'd like to show you a song I made"
I knew Diane was the closest to my wife so I wasn't gonna bomb that quickly
"Okay daddy"

"Do you think I'm too attached to mommy? You can be honest with me , it's okay."
"I don't know daddy"
Of course she doesn't know ... she's just a kid but she's our kid so I know she knows what goes on between us just like her brother
"Should I invite Evan to come listen to the song too princess?"
"Yes! EVAN!"

I picked up the phone dialing my sons number trying to ignore my anticipation to call my wife to see what she's up to despite the fact I already knew where she was and who she was with ... she might as well have been with the wicked witch of the east and west.
"Hi dad"
"Hey Evan you're sister wants to know if you could come visit us"
"Yea sure I'll come"
"Alright son I'll see you soon"
"Okay dad"
Evan's POV
I don't like the feeling I've been getting with my wife ... she constantly ignores me and leaves me alone for days with our daughter and you know I wouldn't mind if she could at least just give me a call ...
I hung up the phone letting my son go back to whatever he was doing
"Evans coming?"
"Yea Evans coming"
"Dad what would you do before you was with mom?"
"Well sweetie id go out a lot with my brother"
"Uncle Junior?"
"Yea"
"Oh"
"Yea we had some good times"
"What happened with you and momma when we were babies"
This is the question I never wanted neither of my girls to ask me . I was afraid the truth would hurt them more
"It's complicated"
"Please daddy please tell me"
"Me and mommy just hit a big bump in the road"
"Is that why when we were younger you was with other woman?"
They both stared at me with a puppy dog look of their faces , now how in the world could I possibly answer that question
"Mhm"
"Why"
"That's enough story time about mommy & daddy my princesses"

"Di that's him I swear it is"
"He wouldn't do that to me ... he wouldn't do that again we promised each other we wouldn't"
"Di I'm telling you it was him"
"Well I'm telling you I'm done talking about it"
Diana's POV
Michael couldn't be that stupid to cheat on me again ... just saying again hurts me but it's true he doesn't think I know and I never spoke on it but before I decided to step out of my marriage he did. As I wrapped up things with my sister the thoughts of him hurting me again ran through my mind .
Would he really hurt me like that again after all this time?
Is he ever going to confess about hurting me the first time?
I took all that blame the day he decided to bash me to my friends and his family ... the things he said about me he might have has well had said it about himself as well
