Chapter 5

The twins woke up to the sound of the alarm that Dipper insisted they needed.

Dipper groaned as he rubbed his eyes and sat up on his bed. He let out a tired yawn and checked his phone to see what time it was.

Dipper flinched when the bright light from the screen entered his eyes and he blinked a couple of times to stabilize his sight.

The time 5:30 AM was blaring right on the phone.

He opened the curtains slightly to enable him to take a peek outside. He saw that the sky was still a vertex of chaos and immediately closed the curtains.

'Right, this place is another space on it's own. There is no night nor day'

Dipper shivered when he thought of the Mindscape, another place like this.

The brunette then shook his head to make the thoughts fly out of his mind and took a long look at his sister.

Despite the blaring noise made by the alarm, Mabel was still sleeping like the dead.

While she was asleep, she had managed to kick off her blanket which resulted to half of the cloth to land on the floor.

She slept with a smile on her lips as she hugged her pillow close.

"Ha......Mr. Flotterpie would you like another tea?hmmm...."

Mabel murmured in her sleep as she begun to changed her position which ultimately resulted unto the blanket finally completely falling off the floor.

Dipper sighed and begun to get out of bed to wake up his sister.

"Mabel wake up, we still need to go attend the tour"

Dipper reminded as he begun to gently shake his sister's shoulder.

".....Dipper......one more hour..."

Mabel batted his hands away and snuggled deeper with her pillow.

Dipped frowned and knew that when his sister was like this it will be very hard to wake her up, so using his 7 years (it was impossible for anyone to remember anything when below 6 years old) of Mabel knowledge to wake her up.

"There is going to be magical ranch and swimming pool in the tour"

And just like that Mabel shoot up from bed with the ferocity of a bullet. Due to his surprise, Dipper lost his balance and fell off from the bed.

Mabel who seemed to have finally snapped out of her sleepy state looked at Dipper sprawled over the floor with an eyebrow raised.

"Hey Bro bro, what are you doing laying on the floor, that's dirty"

Dipper shot her a glare but Mabel only laughed it off, because truth to be told Dipper's glare was akin a cute kitten's. Specially with his button nose scrunched up.

"Okay okay, come on let's start the day with a bright smile Dipper"

Dipper rolled his eyes and huffed as he stood up and patted the dust away from clothes.

Mabel beamed him a smile and Dipper let out a small one himself.

They bathe in the bathroom that they found connected to their room via a door they thought earlier was a build in closet.

And wore the uniform prepared for them.

One look at Mabel and you could already see how displeased the brunette was with her clothes.

The dull grey colors didn't matched Mabel's charm as well as the red wine skirt. It made her looked like a child trying to wear grown up clothes.

Luckily for Dipper, unlike her sister didn't care much about the appearance of the uniform. The uniform didn't look bad but it didn't look good on him either though.

Today was a day given to them to tour around and tomorrow was the start of their so called 'classes' so he and Mabel didn't need to bring much on them.

Dipper made sure that both him and his sister were neat and prepared before they exited the door.

When they stepped out they were surprised to see that there was already someone waiting for them outside.

Dipper instinctively placed himself in front of Mabel and glared at the boy.

The boy looked to be 19 years old and had a soft smile on his face. His glassy light blue eyes made it hard to know if the smile was genuine or not. He had light blond almost whitish hair that was softly curled. His had pale skin that made him look like somone who avoided sunlight.

'Thinking about what kind of school this is, he probably does'

Dipper though as he observed the uniform the teen was wearing. It was just like his but he had a badge clipped on his colar.

The badge was as small as a coin and was shapes like a shield. It was lined in gold and glisten an unnerving shine. With the badge was a black engraving of a crown perched on a branch.

Seeing that the twins were not going to do any talking soon, the teen greeted them first.

"Good morning to the two of you, my name is Claude Frosthaven. I will be the one to give you twins a tour of the Academy"

His voice was welcoming enough, like he liked the idea of touring them.

Dipper was highly suspicious of the man but it looks like Mabel didn't share the same opinion as she moved in front of Dipper and held out his hand.

"Hello! My name is Mabel Pines and this is my twin brother, Dipper! It's reeaaally nice to meet you! This school is really big! How long have you stayed in here?! Woooww that's a really pretty badge! Wha-"

"Mabel!"

Dipper cut off her sister and pulled her away from Claude whose eyes were wide as saucers and stared at his sister like she was a weird unidentified new animal.

Mabel was at least 2 centimeters taller than him but his sister only managed to reach the chest of the teen in front of them.

Dipper grumbled about him still having a few years to grow tall as he stood in front of Claude.

"Hello, are we going to start the tour now ?"

Claude seemd to have snapped out of his shocked state and looked at Dipper for a while before he seemed to have remembered why he as here in the first place.

He gave them a smile as he told the twins to follow him out of the dormitory to start their tour.
