At the lunch table Dipper was listening to Mabel talk about her day with the Claude and the 2 seniors, with him adding some details when asked.

A question then popped into his mind and he new this wasn't going to leave his mind and will drive him crazy in the night with curiosity, so he asked even if it might offend the others.

"Glenn, why does some students have um......peculiar...you know?"

Glenn seems to have been caught off guard by the question but didn't seem offended at all.

"You mean why we look weird?"

Dipper just looked down with a red face and nodded slightly.

"Hey, don't be embarrassed. If I was in your situation, I would've ask the same thing"

Glenn assured him as she begun her explanation.

"The reasons for our appearances can be sorted our into two reasons, let's start with the rarer of the two. First is because that person has mixed blood and isn't fully human. An example of that is me. Now for the second, is because it is a bloodline curse. A family that dabbles in dark arts, of course had suffered it's backlashes and prices as well. So the descendants of those people usually ended up being altered due to the dark arts messing up their genetic make up. An example of this is Aden"

Dipper had an itch to write down what she just had said but didn't since it would probably be rude and weird.

Mabel also listened to the explanation and was amazed.

After finishing their lunch it was a perfect timing that the bell rang as well and they headed back to their classroom.

Once entering they had noticed that a woman was already at the front of their room sitting on the teacher's chair with her hands leaning on the table.

When all the students had already sat at their proper places, she stood up and dis the introduction part again for the new students.

"Good afternoon to everyone~ for the new darlings that have arrived, I am Ava Maeva Desideria. Your teacher on Charms Voodo, I hope to get to know you three well~"

Like what her whole name had meant, she looked and acted luke a seductress. Her robe was much more revealing and exotic looking with lavish looking colors. Her magenta hair was in curls and behind her long lashes were neon green eyes.

Dipper felt uncomfortable with the revealing appearance and over all her appeal.

He looked over to Mabel to see her eyes wide looking at Ava and then he shifted his sights toward Claude who was noticed him looking and gave a tired smile and mouthed out

'Don't worry, she doesn't target students'

Dipper then felt relieved and listened as Eva begun her lesson.

---------------

After the lessons Dipper noticed that despite the obvious eccentricness of Eva, she was actually a pretty good teacher and he understood her lessons fairly well, despite him knowing that he will never use anything that she have taught, considering all them were about seducing and tricking people using charms.

He also found out what the art room was for. Dipper was curious as to why there was an art room in a Dark Magic Academy but he found out today that it was for the Charms and Voodo class, to let the students craft out their charms accessories and cursed objects.

When the clock strikes 3:00, Gercias entered and looked the class before telling them all to head out to the training area outside.

Claude and the seniors had walked with him and Mabel towards the area while explaining a little bit about the events that will take hold.

Once they were at the training area, Dipper saw Gercias approached them and he could feel fear and uneasiness coil up in his chest.

His stormy grey eyes scanned them before he pointed at the benches at the side of the training area.

"The students are to sit over there and watch the others perform. They are still not allowed to try to cast a spell until their second week at the Academy"

His voice was gruff and gave off a feeling of supremacy.

"Yes Professor Ward, I'll take the students over there"

Gercias nodded in satisfaction before turning around and started commanding and guiding the students within the area.

Claude called over Stephen and with the raven haired boy and the twins at side, he guided them over the bench and instructed them to behave and observe the students so that they could use what they have seen in the future.

Dipper watched in amazement as the students begun to cast some spells. All of them were citing in latin and each one had a different twist to it.

Some casted the same spell that was taught yesterday while others tried ones that Dipper thinks were taught before he and Mabel came here.

He opened his notebook and begun to write down the things he was observing as he saw multiply students having a hard time controlling their spells.

"Don't get distracted! Focus on the spells and cast it right!"

Dipper could hear Gercias yelling out advices to the students as he watched in the side with his arms folded and eyes scanning around for any students who made a wrong mistake.

Dipper then continued to observe as he took note of the peculiar appearances of the spells casted by the students. Most of the students practiced a flame spell and yet even with the same incantation, the appearances of the flames were different.

For example was the girl with hot pink hair had flames the same color has her hair, and the boy who was sited in front of him had soft whitish green flames.

He took note of everything and started to rack his brain for answers on why this might be so.

Then he heard a yelp and he looked at the source.

There he saw a teen about 15 land on his behind as he started to cough out smoke. He also had his clothes slightly scorched and his face covered in dark dust.

"That's what happen if you don't focus! Hurry back and try again!"

The boy scrambled back to his former position and tried the spell again, a few incidents alike to the boy's happen but their really was no one who was seriously injured so the class ended normally and they returned back to their dormitory to rest.
