"I'm Jungkook by the way, Jeon Jungkook" He continued with that bunny smile.
"I'm Kim Min-hi" I introduced myself since he had taken the initiative to do so, and began following his foot steps, right beside him as he continued covering us from the million droplets that fell heavily from the grey skies above.
"It's here" He announced gently just as he halted before the doorway to the coffee shop, right underneath the entry roof, taking cover from the hectic weather while quickly closing his umbrella.
Coincidentally, we brushed our hands in sync over our arms.
"We better go inside" I commented as I was about to grab the door knob but he took a hold of it before I could do so, "Please... (smiles), let me" we entered the room which was way warmer than outdoors and took a seat amidst the people. Some were giggling with each other as they drank their drinks, others were sipping their teas and coffee's in silence.
"I hope I'm not interfering with your work..." He gave me this bothered look as he lifted his hand signalling for the waitress to come take our order.
"No... not at all" I simpered, adding "I actually have a bit of time in my hands"
"May I take your order?" The waitress appeared promptly before us, focusing her concentration on Mr. Jungkook, not even sparing a glance to the female customer that stood before her. Which would be me (smiles).
"I'll have a cappuccino" He ordered while she stood there beaming. She didn't seem like she wanted to move from her spot and looked like she had forgotten that she had other customers to attend to.
Hello!!! Would you mind? Stop eating him with your eyes and take my order!
I cleared my throat to see if the woman would snap out if it. "I'll have a Cafe Mocha"
"Ah... yes of course" She responded, taking note as she took a last glance at him and made her way, away from our table swaying her hips from side to side.
I couldn't help but chuckle at the behaviour of this waitress.
"What is it?" He got curious at my sudden chuckle.
"Nothing... nothing" I wouldn't say it. I mean... what was I going to say? I found it humorous how the waitress instantly cut me out of the picture and was nearly drooling on top of him? Who am I to talk....
"So... do you work around here?" He asked as we waited for our orders, but the words wouldn't come out of my mouth, instead an avalanche of thoughts invaded my mind.
Should I tell him where I work? But technically I shouldn't be working there since I'm not really legal there... But... he don't know that, so it should be fine, right? Although, on the other hand... I am going to quit.... I guess I could say it. It should be okay...
"I work at J. Hoseok accounting firm, don't know if you recognize the company though" I ended up telling him.
"Actually, I happen to know him.. business wise that is..." He mumbled, rubbing his hands together while resting his forearms on top of the table, which took me a bit by surprise. I bet my face is probably screaming 'Min-Hi! You dumbass!'
Oh My God! He's going to split on me! He's definitely going to tell him I slacked off, instead of working! Maybe, I should have just sewed my lips together. Really... why do I need it?
"I guess you're also an accountant" He spoke as I just nodded.
"And you? What do you do for a living?" I asked.
