"Were you busy?" Taehyung asked, the moment he opened the door and saw the both of them. His eyes shifted between them, finding that something felt odd.
"Kind of.." Jungkook muttered as Min-hi spoke at the same time "No!" which startled Taehyung. Taehyung just stood there fazed at what he had seemed to have interrupted. Min-hi just wanted to somehow make a run for it, feeling embarrassed. Knowing very well what they had done in there, was everything but business related. The sound of the phone ringing travelled the rooms and Min-hi took it as an escape root. "I'l-l take it" She gave a very slight stutter while volunteering to answer the phone call, head lowered and fast pacing past Taehyung as he watched her walk away, diverting his view back to Jungkook with farrowed eyebrows, nudging his head at him in question of what happened, while closing the door behind him.
Just as the door closed, Min-hi grabbed the phone call. "Good morning, you're talking to Min-hi from JK company, how may I help you"
"Who?" The anonymous female voice spoke at the end of the line.
"Min-hi and may I know who I'm speaking with?" She questioned, while she could hear the clearing of a throat before the person introduced herself.
"My name is Seo Yoon and I am speaking from the finance department. I believe we have recieved a report from miss ChanChang in reference that a person named Taehyung has committed the crime for falsification of a signature. I would wish to speak to that person"
"I'm sorry... are you sure about what you're saying miss? That doesn't seem like something my colleague would do. I mean..." Min-hi felt taken aback, not being able to find the right words.
"Miss?" The woman questioned as everything had become silent.
"It seems you're startled, but sadly it seems to be the case." The lady spoke, while the sound of a door opening filled the air and Min-hi softly yet stiffly glanced back to see Taehyung looking at her, taking in her lost expression.
"What's wrong?" He questioned as Jungkook stood behind him. She couldn't take her eyes off of him. There was just no way he would do such a thing. He was everything but that type of person. She thought...
"Who is it?" Taehyung questioned, but her lips didn't move. She had become unable to bring out the words with what she heard. But just as she was about to find the ability to say something, Taehyung with an astranged expression, quickly took over the phone, removing it from her hands and bringing it to his ear.
"Who is this?" Taehyung questioned as he looked at the eyes of a lost Min-hi.
"This is the finance department." The woman spoke out once more. "Who am I talking to" She added.
"Taehyung" He answered.
"Mr. Taehyung, you are exactly the person I wished to speak with" and Taehyung silenced. "It seems we have received a report for falsification of miss ChanChang signature in relation to documents of a resort she owns in Thailand. She greatly testifies that she did not sign any document to the sale of her property, stating that you have somehow got a hold of her documents"
"Miss I did not do such a thing" He lied with a tone that sounded as if he were speaking the truth.
"I'm sorry but there seems to be proof of the matter. Miss ChanChang has made it very clear that if you don't bring your self in. She will take legal action and sue you" she warned, which made him gulp.
"There must be some confusion because I did not do such a thing" Taehyung put his foot down to something that he knew very well it was lies. He ended the call without letting the woman say anything else. The air in the office had become heavy.
