Min-hi reached for the door. "Who is it?" She spoke while opening it. She placed her hand lightly over her thin dark brown eyebrows, creating a small cover from the strong rays of the sun, that made her eyes naturally squint, trying to take in who was standing now before her.
Just to be greeted with an unexpected presence. Sun shining bright, radiating over his handsome features, tall, brown hair, silky white skin and as usual a kind expression.
"Oh..." She felt surprised, seeing who it was. "What are you doing here?" She asked while hearing a familiar voice come into sync with hers, asking the same question as she removed her hands away from her forehead, slipping her hands into her robes pockets as he noticed the sun bothering her beautiful eyes and shadowed her.
Both quickly turned to look at the voice that decided to become a third party. "Jimin?" Min-hi asked, as he turned to the guest.
"Taehyung?" He squinted his eyebrows in confusion.
"Not to want to disturb this... well whatever the situation is, but... Min-hi, you kind of need to step aside, you're blocking my way. I need to get to work" Chang Wook spoke from behind her, so she did as he asked and made space for him to pass.
With Wook taking his leave, Jimin neared both of them with a small backpack on his back, waiting for Taehyung to say something. After all, he was curious to why he was standing infront of her house, on a Saturday morning.
"How was the trip?" Min-hi asked her cousin, patting playfully the side of his arm. "All good" he smiled back at her, turning his attention back to Taehyung. "So what's your business here?"
"Min-hi..." He answered him, removing his attention from Jimin to Min-hi. "Do you think you can come somewhere with me? It's rather urgent... it's because of work..."
"Work... I see... will it be quick?" She asked tiredly as he nodded vigorously, while Jimin's eyes squinted in suspicion, just as she agreed to it. "Just give me a second, I just need to get freshened up" She warned, signalling him to wait outside a bit and went back in to the house.
"Why do you need Min-hi?" He asked Taehyung as he thought of a quick lie and responded naturally. "We have a tax deadline and we still have companies pending. We have to get everything sent by Monday"
Jimin simply nodded, but honestly to him everything about JK company seemed utterly weird and he began regretting having helped her get a spot there. Just a few weeks ago, him and his friend were talking between each other and he had said, he seemed to be into some shady stuff recently, which made him become weary of the whole situation.
Flashback
At Jimin's rooftop, while sipping on a few beers with his closest friend Namjoon at night, he decided to throw out a few question that stuck to his throat, like a bad lump.
"Hey namjoon... Do you know anything about Taehyungs boss" Jimin asked out of curiosity. It bothered him that he was spending so much time with Min-hi.
"Well that was rather random" He chuckled, pausing his beer on his lap.
"Do you know or don't you..." He sipped on his beer, while Namjoon sighed looking at him.
"Nope... but..." He spoke with honesty, while jimin quickly turned his body in his direction with curiosity. "But what?!!"
Namjoon sighed, placing his beer on the bench, along with his hands, sitting comfortably while gazing at the sky and yet glancing in the mean while at his friend Jimin who seemed worried about something. "Taehyung seems to be up to something..."
"What do you mean?" Jimin asked, moving his leg in a V shape, having his foot touch his thigh, with boths hands resting on his legs, giving Namjoon his complete and utter attention.
