Chapter 13: Cops

Driving continuously at high speed down on the road, after dragging Min-hi out of the restaurant. He drove as if the streets had no limits, he was so enraged at the fact Sehun had touched even a strand of her hair.

'That motherfucker is dead! Just you wait... You'll be eating sand very soon Oh Sehun!' His mind was filled with hatred while his gaze was solemnly on the street view that appeared before him. Foot applying force on the pedal and hands clutching tightly on the wheel, forgetting that there was a trembling lamb on the seat next to him, with eyes sealed with all her force, afraid that this was her end. She was almost sure that at the speed they were going, they would be bound to get into an accident and there would be no way they would survive such a crash with the impact of the force that this car would create. She could almost put her hands on fire.

We're going to die! How is it that he hasn't been stopped by the cops! She questioned herself out of panic and fear, that her head was starting to throb.

Suddenly, red and blue lights began flashing behind them with the sound of sirens blaring, making Min-Hi open her eyes too look back just to see the police chasing them, but Jungkook didn't stop at all. It was as if he had blocked all sounds and wasn't listening to his surroundings at all.

Instead, his foot became heavier on the pedal, applying more force, pushing the speed limit up.

"Jungkook stop!" Min-hi decided to speak up this time, raising her trembling voice, wrapping both her hands on his forearm, hoping that he would calm down before something much worse happened. She wasn't calling him a bad driver but even so, there's always that high chance. Plus, the floor was slippery since it had rained a few hours ago and not to forget there were cops after them.

Hearing the way her voice quivered, his heart softened together with the look in his eyes, loosening his grip from the wheel, and lightning the weight he applied on the pedal, he broke away from his steamed filled bubble. 'What am I doing...' he glanced at her, realizing she had just gone through that and here he was not taking her feelings in too consideration and driving recklessly as if he was the only person in the car. The last thing he wanted was to make her feel that way. It was bad enough she had to go through that terrible experience and he felt that he was partially to blame. He knew Oh Sehun sexually harassed women, but he forgot about it at that moment, all because his brain was focused on the business deal with Yoongi and he also thought that he wouldn't dare be stupid enough to lay a hand on her, considering that she was with him.

"Pull over!" The police officer that was chasing them ordered them through his speaker and he obeyed, flickering his light, signalling that he was pulling over.

"What are we going to do..." Min-hi pouted at the thought, covering her face with her palms. She didn't like cops for personal reasons. He pulled his car over taking a deep breath as the cop neared "...I hate cops" He heard her mumble, sighing at the sight "Want me to crack a joke with them?" He tried thinking of a way to cheer her up, since cops to him weren't a big deal, even if they were on their tails.Even so, he did wonder why she didn't like them.

"It's not a joking matter..." She puffed her cheeks, letting a out the heavy air that she was containing, while passing her fingers through her hair, bringing her it back. "Don't worry, cops aren't a big deal... just follow my lead" He muttered, tapping his hand over hers twice, passing a comforting smile, diverting his attention to his side of the door as the cop placed his hand over his car, shaking his hand softly up and down, signalling him, to pull the down his window.

"I'm going to need you to show me your license and for both of you to step of out of the vehicle" the police asked with a stern expression on his face, while lowering his head, checking out Min-Hi who was sitting in the car.
