There she was, comfortably in her bubble, thinking that she was completely alone once Taehyung had shut that darn door. But no... not even 5 minutes after she went into her 'I wonder what's it like to be a boss', Jungkook entered his office like normally but she didn't even take notice.
The moment her boss spoke "It takes more than two legs resting on my desk to be a boss" Which made her heart theoretically leave her chest and escape before he closed the door, leaving them alone together. Her eyes widened, pulling the chair back at the speed of light, while ripping her legs away from the desk which made her stumble in her heels, losing complete balance.
Noticing this, he quickly got a hold of her left arm as her right arm caught a bit of the corner of his desk.
"That was a close one" she mumbled between her breath, letting out a sigh of relief as she regained her balance. Glad that her body hadn't met the ground.
"Are you okay?" He asked as she closed her eyes shut from embarrassment. Damn my life! Let me just runaway and crawl back into my hole.... How the hell did he get in without making much noise?! Did he glide in or just catch a ride from a mosquito...
"Hmm" she let out a small while nodding. I'm totally going to get my ass fired!
Well, technically speaking it's not really firing if I was never really legally hired... but anyways....
"Here, sit down" He tried pulling her back on to his chair, but she grabbed his wrest, trying to pull him away so that he wouldn't manage to push her back down "There's no need... I'll just sit over there" she pointed to the chair that was placed on the opposite side of the table with her eyes. I just died of shame on this spot... no need to have another connection with it.
"Just sit here..." He chuckled, placing his hands on each side of her shoulders, pulling her down so that her damn body would finally land where he wanted it too as he then removed his hands away from her and grabbed the arms of the chair, leaning a bit in as he smoothly moved his face close, so that his lips were inches away from her ear which made her freeze for a split second and just as she was about to place her hands on his chest to push him away, he whispered teasingly letting his hot breath tickle her ear which gave her a tingly feeling at the pit of her stomach "... so you can get a feel of being a boss"
Her eyes widened at his word and a burning sensation made it's way to her cheeks. Shame.
As he stepped away from her and sat on the corner of the desk, close to her. She didn't know what to do or say at the very second, since she was simply dying from first hand embarrassment, waiting for someone to just pass her a shovel, so she could do the honours in digging her hole.
He licked his lip as he watched her cheeks change to pink, noticing that she didn't dare to look up and face him. Even though he appreciated her sexy look he found the expression she was wearing, extremely cute. He couldn't help but chuckle at the view.
'knock knock'
"Come in" Jungkook spoke, turning his head back to face the door.
"I have the contract ready" Taehyung formally walked in with the papers in his hand as Jungkook extended his hand out and he handed it to him. Min-hi then lift her chin up at the word 'contract' and his secretary left the room.
Oh that's right... oppa...
"Read the contract and sign" He spoke as he handed her the important document as he stood there waiting for her to flip the papers and read before him but she didn't want that.
"Can I take this home instead...? I'll give you an answer tomorrow..." She spoke, remembering that Chang Wook had specifically warned her to bring these documents to him so that he could make sure she didn't get herself into anything stupid.
He looked at her surprised since he wasn't expecting her to ask him that. He thought she would sign it on the spot. Not that there was anything suspicious in the the contract, but he got the feeling that maybe she was having second thoughts about working with him.
"Is it because you don't trust me..."
"Ah no... God no..." She strongly denied. "... It's just that I want to sign this after I've read this properly"
He slightly nodded, passing his thumb on his bottom lip. He then sighed, focusing his gaze at her, resuming what was practically written on the contract. "... Your job will be simple, you just need to the accounting of the the company's I hand you, any important reunions that contain the importance of you translating, you will assist me. Your work from 9 am to 12:30 and from 2 pm to 6: 30 pm, although if I call you in on a Saturday or during the week at night to translate something important, you must come quickly to me. Payment for the extra working hours will be transferred to your account. Salary wise, you will be paid xxx monthly"
Her eyes widened at the amount he offered her. It was definitely a good salary. Shit! Hoseok should take lessons from this guy on how to pay his workers properly....
"Another thing..." He rose his index finger, catching her attention. "...anything about the company must be kept confidential"
She nodded in a agreement as he smiled back.
"Now..." He removed himself from the desk, rubbing his hands together. "... Taehyung will bring you some folders, for you to get started. Any questions ask him " He spoke formally as he began walking away from her, taking his phone out of is pocket. "if he's not around you can call me" He spoke, taking a hold of the door knob.
"But I don't h-" Her phone began ringing, with an incoming call from an unknown number. "You do now. Save it" He smiled, leaving her alone in his office as he walked up to Taehyung.
"Hand her 'those' folders" He ordered his right hand man.
"Are you sure it'll be okay?" He showed Jungkook concern.
"She's a novice at certain areas, she won't really take a notice... she still has a lot to learn. Hoseok spoke to me about her once" He placed his hand on Taehyung's right upper arm.
"You'll be the one teaching her" he smirked, patting his arm and taking his leave.
