Chapter 6: Celebration

Jungkook pressed the button on his phone that was directed to Taehyung. "Prepare Min-Hi's office and her contract"

"Right away" Taehyung answered, lifting up from his seat to go prepare the office. But, just as remembered a problem, he quickly dialed back to his boss "... but we have a problem..."

"What?" Jungkook's voice deepened.

"The computer we ordered has suffered a delay and will only be arriving after tomorrow" He explained, which made jungkook let out a deep sigh, passing his fingers through his black, soft hair.

Opening the door, directing himself to his secretary.

"Tell her to work in my office for the day. I have other issues to attend to during the day so, I'll hardly be in the office" Jungkook explained, which made Taehyung look at him in confusion.

"You never let anyone in your office...." He stated, making Jungkook lick his bottom lip.

"I just did" He smirked, making his way back to his office. Shutting the door.

"So how did it go?" Jimin asked, starting the cars engine as she stepped in.

"I got the job!" she spoke overjoyed.

"Let's go get beer and a cake to celebrate!" He suggested as he went to buy the stuff with her. By the time they had arrived home it was half past seven in the afternoon.

As they placed the utensils, cake and beer on the table, the door opened, hearing a grunt of tiredness as he changed his shoes.

"Oh! Oppa is home"Min-hi smiled, moving her body to the corridor, facing Chang Wook.

"How was work?" she helped him take his jacket off, placing it on the coathanger, which made him chuckle.

"You're rather hyper today" He commented in a tired tone of voice.

"I got myself a job" She beamed as they walked to the kitchen, where Jimin was sitting at the table, while sipping on a cup of beer.

"You manage to get a job in a week?" Wook asked a bit surprised.

"I helped her out" Jimin passed him a beer as they took a seat.

"Still... that's quite lucky" Her brother commented at Jimin as he focused his gaze on his younger sister. "... some people only manage to land a job sometime 2...3 or even 5 months of looking. If not more...."

"Who the heck hired my stupid sister so fast?" Wook chuckled, making fun of his little sister, even though he was happy for her.

"JK company" Min-Hi punched playfully on her oppa's left upper arm.

"So how did you help her out?" He asked jimin, after rubbing his arm from the whack he got.

"It's actually funny. You see... I was out with a few friends and this friend that I haven't seen in a long time also came across us. I was talking to Namjoon, how Min-hi was trying to find a job in the office or accounting area and if he knew anyone to tell me and that's when Taehyung... the guy I haven't seen in a while, cut into our conversation and mentioned that his boss was looking to hire someone at his company. So, I gave him her contact information and he told me, he would speak with his superior and give her a call if he managed anything"

"She got lucky in other words" Wook chuckled.

"Pretty much.... I was actually surprised how he called after only three hours" Jimin commented.

"That was fast..." Wook agreed with him.

"Tsk" Min-hi hissed "Of course it was fast. Who wouldn't want a Min-Hi in their company"

Which made her cousin and her brother laugh at her high confidence.

"So what's the position your getting?" Wook asked as he cut a bit of cake.

"Good question...." she answered as he let go of the knife and stopped in confusion.

"How do you not know?" Jimin himself had to ask since it sounded weird.

"I didn't ask.... I forgot" She rubbed her sculpt.

"I'm even afraid to ask.... what about salary? How much are you going to earn?...." Wook asked but she curled her lips in, in silence.

I forgot to talk about that too....

"What's your schedule?" Jimin asked, which made his face palm himself. "I cannot believe you didn't talk about these things..."

"What about the contract?" Wook's eyebrows scrunched.

I have no words for myself.

"I was going to ask these things.... tomorrow?" She spoke, not really looking them in the eyes.

"You're so... stupid" Jimin commented.

"Yaah!" Wook yelled at his sister. "What the heck did you talk about at the interview?!"

Shit! I hate it when he goes at me!

"Honestly... it was more like a reunion since he's someone I've met accidentally before..." She tried explaining but he was angry at her. He knew his sister was really stupid when it came to these things.

Although I did find it slightly weird.... but... it's fate I guess. I was meant to cross paths with the guy.

"I want a copy of your contract in my hands tomorrow! And you do not sign until I read the content!" he ordered her as he gulped down a good chunk of beer. The perks of having a brother who's a lawyer *mentally rolls eyes*

"What was the point of buying beer. A person almost gets drunk from her stupidity" Jimin retorted which earned him a slap on the back of his head from her.

"I was going to ask about it tomorrow!" she said her last words and stormed to her bedroom.
