Chapter 24: Problems

Standing the three of them on the rooftop. Jimin trying to understand who he was while Jungkook clutched her cellphone tightly trying to understand what he just heard.

"How did you know I was here?" She asked him, while Jimin shifted his eyes between the both of them, trying to solve the puzzle on who this man was.

"I heard your voice from downstairs..." He tried speaking calmly but he wasn't pleased with the information that had accidentally filled his ears, while turning his gaze at Jimin who he was trying to see who he was, even though he could almost guess just by his name since it wasn't exactly unfamiliar.

"Oh... this is my cousin Jimin" She instantly introduced him. "We're pretty much neighbours..." She explained, considering that he lived on the roof top of the convenience store, right next to her home. But more than the fact that she was with him, his brain had been muffled with what he heard.

"Who..."Jimin muttered to which she instantly jumped up from the table. "This is my boss...Jungkook" and he stared intensely at the cell phone which was in his hands. He knew very well who that belonged to and it irritated him in so many ways. Why did he have her phone? Why?

"Why do you have Min-hi's phone?" His questions that were suppose to be only asked in his mind, slipped out of his lips unconsciously.

"It's because I-" Min-hi wanted to somehow cover it up but Jungkook completely spoke over her, cutting her from speaking and without any hesitation spoke out. "Came to give back what belonged to my woman" he marked his territory right there and then, showing Jimin where he stands. He knew he wasn't her cousin, since Taehyung had told him about it when he asked about Min-hi's info.

"What?!" Jimins eyes widened and turned to quickly look at the person he was so in love with, in hopes that it wasn't true, but Min-hi just stood there silent and frozen not expecting at all that he would do that and not to mention that she wasn't ready to tell Jimin that she was in love with her boss. Let's not forget to mention that she herself didn't know that the both of them we're already considered a 'couple'. I mean, she thought he could've just said he liked her because they had a few drinks but it turned out that wasn't the case and that he was really serious about it.

Her cheeks became bright pink at the thought that she even left him a note in the middle of the night and ran away, instead of staying with him until the blink of day time shined through his bedroom curtains, but no, she pretty much made it look like a one night stand.

'Your one amazing dumbass Min-hi! How far does your stupidity go? I feel so ashamed now! And here he is announcing our relationship' She mentally scolded herself, until she snapped back to reality as he broke off from the topic and diverted to what really bothered him.

"What's this about blank checks I heard?" Jungkook muttered, holding in his anger, hoping that he had misheard. But no. It was true.

"It's nothing... I was just explaining to my cousin about how we cant just remove checks easily when we're students" She tried hard to cover up for Taehyung since he had said he didn't know about it and was trying to solve a mistake he did without him knowing.

She lightly bumped Jimin's leg in hopes that he would go with her, but his expression showed the opposite.

"I heard you say that Taehyung asked you that." He didn't beat around the bush and went directly for it, which startled her.

"You misheard" She let out a nervous giggle, bumping her leg on Jimin's once again but he wasn't helping her at all and he had no plans on helping her on this one, considering that the type of thing her colleague asked was beyond funny or considered normal.
