"What happened to your face?!" He asked worriedly, making his way around her question as he neared her.
"It's nothing..." She forced a smile.
Noticing the situation, he got the message that she didn't want to talk and from Kook's face, something most definitely happened. "Anyways, I'll be taking my leave. I'll talk to you later" He eyed Jungkook as he got himself in his car and drove off.
On the other hand, Min-hi was surprised to see him but then it hit her that maybe he was really close to her boss, taking consideration that he's his secretary... slipping that into her mind, she shook away her doubt looking up at the tall handsome figure that stood next to her giving her a gentle smile as she gulped her saliva slowly yet nervously knowing that she would be stepping in her boss's house. Was that even considered normal?
Both of them walked to the gates and just as he got to the his doorstep, Min-hi's two feet were glued to the ground, wet from the rain that had stopped just a while ago.
Jungkook tilted softly his head in confusion, when he looked back and saw his worker standing before the gates, not moving an inch while looking at the small stone pathway that led to the entry of his home.
Min-hi... this is where you think twice before you cross this very line! In or out? Maybe this isn't a good idea... he's your boss Min-hi! B to the O to the S-S! Let's not forget this is not a minor but big issue. It's wrong in so many ways.... or maybe not?... Taehyung was also here and he's also his boss... so maybe it's not such a big deal.... No! He's a guy remember? It's weirder if a women goes in!
"What wrong?" He asked subtly, breaking her inner reasoning as she lifted her head, making eye contact with him, discreetly fidgeting her fingers. "Just having an inner argument with myself... don't mind me" She smiled nervously.
He chuckled at her response, finding her reasonably cute. "I've told you I'm not your boss outside of work and I won't do anything I promise. Come on in" He spoke as if he already knew what thoughts scrolled through her mind as he opened his door and motioned his head, telling her come in.
Why do I feel even more worried when he tells me he's not my boss at these hours... She pursed her lips at her thoughts, taking the first step into his land, inhaling the air that surrounded her and exhaling as she walked into his house.
"Feel at home" He spoke as he disappeared into a room while she changed her shoes into slippers and walked into the first door that appeared on her right, finding herself in his lounge. There were two cosy looking sofas turned to the big fireplace at the end of the room, which came first thing into her line of view. Even though the outside of the house looked rather typical and normal, the inside was completely different from what she had expected. The moment she saw the fireplace which was already lit, she fast paced to it, since it was rather cold and stood in front of it, taking in the warmth that wrapped around her body, hands lifted to it.
"What are you doing?" Jungkook asked as he saw her standing there, after he looked around to see which room she had gone into, which made her jump at the sound of his voice and turn around "Oh... I-I was just cold so" she glanced at the fire, which made him chuckle once more.
"Just sit overe there" He eyed the sofa near the fireplace and lifted his first aid box to show her that he didn't mean any harm, so she did as she was told and sat down, near the warmth spread. Jungkook slowly walked up to the stool that stood neat the other sofa and pushed it over, right in front of her as he sat down and spread his legs, locking hers between his, which made her gulp and clutch her hands over her knee length skirt.
"Hold this" He placed the mid kit over her lap, so that she would stop clutching and fidgeting with her fingers out of nervousness and held it instead, but that didn't change the fact that she was still nervous.
