"I am so happy today because we have a very special guest," Ms. Kris Aquino said. "Let us welcome, the most popular Filipino girl group not just here in the Philippines but also in Asia, Diamond!"
Naunang pumasok si Eugene, sinundan siya ni Amy at kaming tatlong natira sa likod. The audience clapped until we're seated. Kumaway kami sa fans namin na may mga banner at lightsticks na hawak.
Kris Aquino started her greetings and she looks really ecstatic today just like she said.
"I know ilang beses niyo na itong ginawa but can you please introduce yourselves," sabi niya.
"Hi! I'm Eugene, the leader and main vocalist of the group," she said. She's wearing her favorite pink long sleeves blouse and white skirt na nabili niya noong nagpunta kami sa Korea.
"I'm Amy, the main dancer," kumaway rin siya fans pagkatapos non. She's sporting a pair of ripped jeans and statement shirt. Mahilig siyang magsuot ng jeans at bihira lang magdress o palda. Nahihirapan daw kasi siyang sumayaw sa mga ganon.
Lumakas ang hiyawan nang ako na ang magsasalita.
"Hi! I'm Ziana, the main rapper and lead vocalist of the group," ngumiti ako at bahagyang nagbow. I think nakuha ko na sa kanila ang ganong habit. Inayos ko ang pag-upo ko dahil naka-palda ako at medyo maikli ito. I can still move properly sa mga ganito pero naiilang lang ako kapag umuupo na. Mas umiikli kasi.
"Hello! I'm Ayumi, the lead vocalist," she flashed her signature smile. Dahil siya ang pinaka-singkit sa amin, it seems like her eyes also smiles whenever she's smiling. Ngayon ay simple lang ang damit niya, just a simple purple dress that compliments her accessories.
"I'm May, subvocalist and lead dancer," she smiled shyly nang may sumigaw ng pangalan niya mula sa audience. Her hair is tied in a messy bun at naka-dress lang din siya just like Ayumi but hers is in yellow.
"Wait lang, ha. I noticed that Ayumi is Japanese am I right? And si May is Chinese. Sinong pure Filipino sa inyo?" tanong ni Ms. Kris. "Sorry, ha? Hindi ako nagresearch about you kasi all I did is watch your performances lalo na doon sa Madison Square Garden!"
As usual, si Eugene ang sumagot ng tanong. That's one of her responsibilities as leader.
"Amy and I are half Korean. Yung mama ko po is Korean, she's from Seoul then Amy's father is from Busan."
"So, that leaves Ziana as the pure Filipino," Ms. Kris pointed me. Tumango naman ako.
Nagpatuloy na kami sa programme wherein Ms. Kris asked questions about our auditions, start as a group, performances abroad and solo activities.
"Grabe!" she laughed, "Move on na tayo. Allowed na ba kayong makipagdate?"
Halos mabingi kami sa hiyawan ng fans. Hati ang opininyon nila pagdating sa bagay na iyon. Tumingin kami kay Eugene. Well, wala kaming maisagot. Eugene looked at us then to our manager.
"Uhmm," bahagya siyang tumawa,"Not yet po. We.. have a contract po kasi.."
Ms. Kris looked at our manager, "Oh, okay! Ano yon? Bawal kayong makipagdate?"
"Opo" sagot namin.
"Ay, why? For how long?"
"Three years po," sagot ni Eugene.
"And you're on your second year na di ba?" she asked. Tumango kami. "One na lang pala. Pero paano kung like niyo talaga yung guy?" she pouted her lips a little bit. "Bawal talaga?"
