"Life is a competition not with others, but with ourselves. We should seek each day to live stronger, better, truer lives; each day to master some weakness of yesterday; each day to repair a mistake; each day to surpass ourselves." - David B. Haight

Mary couldn't accept the fact that she was not the only one loved by Francis. She can see in his eyes - he adored the baby, he smiled at him. He already in loved with the small infant that was not born from their intimacy. She felt slightly disgusted remembering the relationship between Francis and her dear friend, Lola. But the baby is Francis' and he has Francis' features that she admired - blue eyes, blond hair but no curls. She wishes she will be pregnant soon. It would erase her doubt and her mounting misery.

Addy has been sitting in the cafe since 15 minutes ago. She's been waiting for Toby - he texted her an hour ago to meet her in the cafe within the studio. She looked into her phone again. There was no recent message. The cafe was not full but not deserted. Her coffee was getting cold but she still didn't see Toby around that supposed to finish by then.

Before arriving at the cafe, she had a small discussion at the costume department, together with other casts, including Caitlin, Celine and Anna. They will have a take tomorrow - Lola and Francis would arrive with their baby. The director will get a real baby for the take. Addy was excited despite of her real character would despise the child. She loved babies. She never thought she would ever marry in her life and started a family. But her recent relationship with Toby gave her so much hope for starting a family, probably not so soon but later when they had settled. She was hoping Toby was feeling the same way too. They couldn't keep this relationship a secret, sooner or later everyone will have to agree with their affair and they are very serious about it. This thought made her smile.

"Alone miss?"

She startled. It was Sean who interrupted her. She immediately smiled.

"Yes, at the moment." She looked around the cafe but Toby was not arrived yet.

"Are you waiting for someone?" Sean asked. Addy didn't answer. She just shook her head nervously.

"May I sit here?" he asked again. She nodded and quickly sipped her coffee.

"I heard they serve the best Irish tea here - strong... and bold in taste. Well I guess, it's still tea," He started his small talk and sipped his hot tea. Addy smiled and replied, "I don't know. I'm not a tea lover. Toby might be. I just stick to my coffee."

"Yeah... About him, where is he?" Sean searched around the Cafe but not a glimpse of his old friend. Addy shrugged.

"Toby is a man with so much hidden talent. He was so quiet when I first saw him at school... When we are in England," Sean added and sipped his tea. Immediately it caught Addy's attention. Her brown eyes was glistening with excitement. Sean noticed that.

"He was so quiet that I barely knew so much about him. He would prefer sitting in the corner in the classroom, looked enthusiastic but timid. He was quite shy too. He didn't talk or participate so much in class. He preferred just smiling or answering when was pointed by the teacher. You know what?"

"What?"

"He always has an answer for every each question given. He tried his best not being the attention of the crowd. I guess he wouldn't be an actor if he wasn't forced by her mother to participate in the drama class," Sean explained. Addy was in awe. She never heard this before. Toby never shared his childhood stories.
