"He's just muttering some stuff now." Stella says
"What kind of stuff?" Ursa asks
"I dunno, it doesn't sound like any actual words in any languages that I know." Auni says
"I thought you knew Latin." Eli says
"Latin?"
"Yeah she's saying "Darkness will take over. The light is weak." or something." He says. Ash's phone rings.
"What's up?" She sighs and puts it on speaker.
"Ok, you're on."
"Ok so B passed out while we were out and I couldn't do anything in time so now we're at the hospital." Ivy says, "Maybe don't come right now, they're kinda suspicious about her since she's mostly fine and she has no medical records and having forty-something people show up to visit kinda just looks like an awkward family reunion of twenty year-olds."
"Is she ok?" Rain asks
"Wow, someone finally asked." She says, "Uh, she should be."
"Should?" Rain asks
"I mean, nothing we don't already know." She says, "She can't walk and everything but their technology is... different, they might find out something we don't know."
"Ok, keep us updated." Ash says
"Ok." She hangs up.
"So is he possessed or something?" Shelby asks
"He's not being possessed or controlled." C says.
"Expose him to pure light." Ari says, "Lux!" Ari's lioness appears.
"Lux gives off pure light energy." Ari says. The familiar sits next to Chase and glows.
"So now we-" Chase groans and sits up.
"Oh thank Night you're ok!" Ursa hugs him.
"So she does have emotions." Reni mumbles
"Now's not the time." Rose says
"I was so worried, did she hurt you? Are you ok? Where is she? I-"
"Ursa-"
"We should've found you earlier-"
"Ursa!" He stops her, "I'm ok, don't worry."
"Your eye." Greta says, "What happened to your eye?"
"It's fine." He says.
"Well I'm gonna go give you guys some time to talk." I say, "Yeah so... I... ok bye. Chase, I'm glad you're ok." I walk out.

Ivy walks over to us.
"I told you-"
"It's just the two of us." Ivory say
"Have you heard anything about Bo-"
"Beth." She says
"Anything about B?" I ask
"Not yet." She says, "I hate hospitals."
"Same."
"How's Chase?" She asks
"He'll be fine." Ivory says. A doctor walks out.
"Vivian." They say, "May I talk to you?"
"Sure, what is it?" She asks.
"Well..." They walk into the other room.
"You're uncomfortable here." I say
"What gave that away?" She asks
"We can go somewhere else if you want." I offer.
"Somewhere else?" She asks
"I saw a Chinese place down the street." I say, "They probably have dumplings and rice."
"You know my weakness." She smiles. Ivy walks back out.
"What's up?" I ask
"Nothing we don't already know." She says, "Now I just have to wait here."
"We're gonna go get Chinese food, you want orange chicken?" Ivory asks
"No thanks." She says
"Ok, call us when you hear something."
"I will." She sighs, "Can you get me a Coke?"
"Regular?" She nods.
"Ok, we'll be back." We walk out.

"My crown got messed up." Chase sits down next to me.
"I bet we could get you a new one." I say
"Probably, but this one was my father's." He says, "Ursa was the queen, Greta was the king, and they got most of the power but I didn't care because I got his crown."
"So there's no replacing the crown." I say, "Can you fix it?"
"Not by myself." He puts it next to him, "That's not important right now. Tell me about the Eternal Kingdom."
"It really isn't that exciting." I say, "We had the least about of drama. You know, the all the alliances by marriages and all the royal complications."
"That makes sense." He says
"The Eternal Kingdom wasn't really a big part of society. I mean, Sun, Moon, and Tsunami control the government, Flower and Lightning are the agricultural Kingdoms, Fire protected us, and the Phantoms and Eternals kinda just sat there."
"If you haven't figured out by now, Phantoms don't like people." He laughs
"Ye-"
"Wait." He looks around, "Darkness." He takes my hand and pulls me inside. We both stumble backwards.
"Holy shit, you're really tall." He says, we're barely inches apart.
"You're just as tall as me." I say
"No, I'm floating." He lands
"Can you two please just kiss already?" Greta asks, "This is painful."
"Has anyone seen Siri?" Perry walks in. Chase and I both step back and look at her.
"Not recently." Chase says, "Did you check her tracker?"
"Wow, why didn't I think of that?" She says sarcastically.
"Snappy." Chase says under his breath.
"Are you sure she didn't just go out?" Ari asks
"Read this." Perry hands her a small piece of paper.
"The last time her tracker was online she was in the city." Liam says
"We'll help you look." Chase says

"Did the Eternal Kingdom have a fear simulation?" Chase asks
"No, what's that?" I ask
"Cowardice wasn't a popular trait among Phantoms so every month people were forced to be faced with their fears to over them." He explains, "That Phantoms kinda just sucked."
"Kinda, yeah." I say. My phone rings.
"Perry, did you find her?"
"Put me on speaker." I do.
"Did you find her?" Chase asks
"Yeah.." She says, "You guys can stop looking."
"Is she ok?" I ask. There's a small pause.
"Hey." Bea says, "Uh, don't mention Siri when you get back."
"What happened?" Chase asks
"She's gone." Bea says quietly, "See you back at the hotel."
