<<your pov, 7 years old>> "I meet my soulmate in 3757 days, 3 hours, 12 minutes and 5 seconds", my best friend read off her watch.
"What's a soulmate?" I ask her, i've heard so many people talking about it...but i don't know what it is.
"How do you not know? The timer on your wrist counts down to when you're gonna meet the person you're meant to spend the rest of your life with", my best friend explains, grabbing my wrist to show me my timer.
"Ooh I meet mine in 2555 days, 12 hours, 54 minutes and 21 seconds", I read the numbers that tick by on my wrist.
"You meet yours earlier than I meet mine!" My best friend exclaims.
I shrug and smile as I look down at the numbers on my wrist.
<<timeskip to now, 13 years old>> I meet my soulmate in 367 days...i've been watching the numbers tick by, seemingly getting slower everyday. I stare at the numbers on my wrist, and watch them...not move?? Why aren't they moving??? After a few seconds of me freaking out, the numbers tick...but they go higher. 368 days. 369 days.
