I have a Watermelone.

I HAVE A HOUSE!

I'm not homeless anymore.

*wipes tears from eyes*

But in all honesty, this is pretty fabulous.

It's not even a small house...

It's half a mansion.

That's the only way I can describe it.

Looking over the property for the first time was like a sudden wave of warm happiness and maple syrup.

Now I have a twisting feeling in my gut.

Maybe that's just my baby dancing.

But I'm always worried about the SAME THING.

It's Kira or the case...

Saving Mihael...

Rem's deal...

Saving Misa...

Making sure Light doesn't die...

NOT BEING WITH L FOR SOME WEEKS WHEN I GO AWAY!

Which is simply dreadful.

But at least now I can face-plant into a comfy sofa.

Wait...

No I can't.

UGH.

"BEING PREGNANT IS SO ANNOYING!" I groan and have to caRefUlLy sit on the sofa and not be comfortable because there is a literal WATERMELON stuck to my stomach.

L pokes his smol head through the doorway. "You're only eight weeks..."

"Yeah... still got..."

"About seven months," L calculates.

"I KNEW THAT!"

"You didn't."

"I'm smart too!"

L says nothing.

I try not to be miserable because he's right about everything and go back to feeling tired.

"Hug me," I demand.

We cuddle on the sofa.

I almost sleep.

"Are you hungry?" L asks randomly.

"I'm always hungry..."

His face brightens. "Me too."

Watari is not in our home because he is busy.

Sadly, that means that I have to make beans on toast because L and I are both highly incapable of surviving on our own.

"We need to learn some life skills," I tell my boyfriend as I microwave the beans.

L nods and goes back to staring out of the window at the garden, as if he's in awe.

"Do you like gardening?"

"No," he says, making a face. "I don't like the outdoors, it's very unpredictable."

I kind of expected he'd say something like that.

The toast pops up.

I use the little lift thing on the toaster to make them fly out like jumping fleas.

"TWO TOASTS!" I chuck them on plates.

L tries not to correct my grammatically incorrect life.

"And some beans," I say.
