"Ok, but what about the gas? The second they come in here, we'll all be passed out," I point out as me and Jasper quickly walk down the empty halls. Monty shrugs,

"We'll have to 'play dead'. Hold our breath for as long as we can and hope for the best, it's really the only thing we can do at this point," he says, and I nod my head in agreement. When we reach the dining hall, everyone is a mass of movement.

People rush from corner to corner,  rummaging through desk drawers, moving furniture, and getting everything in place to make sure we don't get taken back into custody,

"Alright! Everyone close the doors!" I yell, and then it's a mad dash for all of the exits, wires and door terminals being ripped from the walls. After all the doors are locked, the large amount of furniture is piled up against each door to buy us some time, and I spot a hatchet behind glass on the wall that I instantly grab,

"We took the level, but now we have to hold it! They will be coming, and we have to be ready!" Jasper yells, and a small girl reaches above him to smash a camera hanging above him,

"Nice job Fox, now go get the hallway camera's," Jasper orders but Monty rushes forward, holding up some sort of panel,

"No leave those, we'll need to know when they're coming," Monty objects, Jasper looks at him with wide eyes,

"You can do that?" he asks incredulously,

"Have you met me?" Monty replies sarcastically and I roll my eyes,

"Smart ass," I mumble under my breath, and he sends me a cheeky grin before setting to work on the small panel in his hands.

I turn  around and see a small girl grasping a gun in her hands, looking around with a scared expression,

"Hey, give me the gun," I tell her, and she immediately hands it over, looking relieved to have the thing taken out of her hands. I give her the hatchet strapped to my back and she looks at the thing like it might bite her in the face,

"If you don't want to die, then use it," I tell her and she nods her head, her eyes larger than saucers. I look around to see pots of water lying around the room, and I walk over to Jasper,

"What's the water for?" I ask and he grins,

"As soon as the smoke bombs get thrown in we need to pick them up and throw them into the water, then pretend to be passed out," he explains. I raise my eyebrows, impressed he thought of something so quickly,

"Smart," I reply, and he nods his head. He walks off to go find something else to do, leaving me alone to do nothing until the guards decide to grow a pair and enter the room.

Flashbacks enter my mind of when I was first told by Kane I would be sent to the ground, how my only worry was getting Murphy and ditching camp... how things were so much simpler in the beginning. Murphy... Fuck I hope he's ok, I think to myself.

I notice Harper sitting alone on the ground, holding a big ass rifle in her hands. I walk over, and plop down next to her,

"You ready?" I ask her, and she sighs,

"I don't even know what I should be ready for," she mumbles in reply. I shrug my shoulders, staring off in front of me,

"Ready to kick some mountain men ass," I reply with a light tone. She gives me a small smile, nodding her head in response. We both fall into an uneasy silence, and I look over at both Monty and Jasper who are both glued to the screen in front of them, looking for any sign of trouble.

When the loud crash echoes throughout the room, my body goes into complete calm mode, and I stand quickly, gun in hand,

"No guns," Monty notices, looking at the screen in front of him,
