A/N: So since my short leave of absence, I wanted to do some kind of bonus chapter thingy, so here it is! I've been thinking about doing something like for a while, but this technically isn't an actual update for Pretty Lies.

This chapter is set on the Ark, and it is also filled with 'what if's'. For example, what if the supply of air on the Ark held no danger of running out? What if the trip to Earth wasn't necessary?

In this chapter, the inmates were released (most of them) because of their petty and small crimes. This sets off a chain reaction, and I hope you enjoy reading, because I definitely had a fun time writing it!

(It is slightly cheesy-however I wanted to fit it all into one chapter so I really couldn't do much about that part, but I hope you still enjoy!)

"Katarina Evans, please step forward," I look down as I force my legs to move, taking a few tentative steps forward as more and more eyes land on me. My head is still ducked down as Jaha clears his throat, making my eyes rise to meet his. My heart leaps into my throat as I look into his eyes, and I have to swallow my own bile as the reality of what's happening slowly sets in,

"Do you swear to speak the truth, and nothing but the truth as you stand before the council?" he questions, and hesitantly, I nod my head,

"I swear," I recite the words Kane had instructed me to say earlier, not able to meet anyone's eyes by Jaha's as he nods his head,

"And do you understand that if you lie, you will be found guilty of treason and then be tried before this very council for your guilt?" he asks, and I purse my lips,

"I do," I reply, my voice terribly quiet in the near silent room.,

"Then let's begin. Did you know Mr. Green personally before the event?" the question riles up my nerves, but I force them down as I raise my head,

"No. I had only met him once before," I answer truthfully, and Jaha nods his head,

"Explain the interaction," he orders, and I swallow the growing lump in my throat as I remember that one, fleeting moment we had shared in the hall,

"I saw him drinking... from a flask on the job. I-I don't know why, but I took it from him. He found me, and-and pinned me up against a wall. He told me to give it back, and I did... and then said never to tell anyone about it," I answer quietly, the more I reveal the more tension enters the room.

I find Kane's cold, hard eyes in the room, and I meet them with my own as I talk. When he looks at me, his face softens, and he nods his head, telling me to continue,

"I went back to the room I share with my mother, and she... she saw the bruises, and told Councilman Kane about what had happened," I add, and Jaha continues to nod along, as if he had heard this story many times over, which he probably has,

"And what happened after that?" He presses, and I shrug my shoulders,

"Nothing. I didn't see him for weeks. The next time I saw him, he was with three others.... and I was walking down the B deck hallway to see my friend when..." I have to stop talking, I shouldn't be saying this. This could kill someone.

Jaha pauses, looking at me as he moves his hand, urging me to continue, "When what, Miss Evans?" he asks, and I have to swallow my tears as I look him dead in the eye, the words coming out strong, and clear,

"When they stuffed me into a room and attempted to rape me," the room echoes with sounds of gasps and guffaws as the words leave my mouth, and Jaha seems taken aback, not expecting the strong response,
