The closer I get the 7th sector, the colder the air around me feels, the frigid air seems to be withdrawing every single part of happiness within me, which makes me understand why Azgeda is so cold hearted and their feelings are sharpened to a point.

The woods around me are quiet, and I try to think like Clarke in the aspect that what would I do if I had taken off instead of her.

I remember all of the small, dismal trading posts I passed on my way here, and I know that if Clarke would be anywhere in this god forsaken forest, it would be where she would have the small chance of getting supplies.

I go to the closest post I see, the dim lights from inside shining through to the outside. I slide off my horse, and I'm about to go inside when my radio at my side begins to cackle and hiss,

"Kat, are you there?" Kane asks, his voice hushed and urgent,

"What do you need Kane?" I ask in a tired voice, clicking the radio off as I wait for his reply,

"We're surrounded by grounders, I need you to come to these coordinates, be prepared for hostiles," I don't reply as the coordinates  come through,

"On my way. Over and out," I shut off the radio, not wanting to risk someone hearing it if I'm supposed to be quiet.

Kane is only two miles from here, and I look at my trusted steed before patting her back,

"I'll be back," I tell her quietly before breaking out into a run.

I reach the spot in less than 15 minutes, my eyes spotting the rover from a mile away.

I crouch down low in the trees, waiting for the opportune moment. I look around me, trying to find any signs of the ice nation. I see four at least, two of them on either side of the vehicle. I mentally cure myself as I move behind one of them, easily knocking them to the ground using a rock.

Before I can move on to the next one, the door to the rover opens, and everyone inside is instantly pounced upon. When I see Bellamy my blood chills, and I should have known he would be with Kane.

I watch as he's pushed to the ground, and then my eyes shift to the red beacon strapped to Monty's side, the same beacon one of the grounders decides to rip off of him,

"That's mine!" he yells angrily, kicking out his legs as he tries to get out of the tight hold the grounder has on him,

"Monty, let it go," Kane orders in a stern voice, his eyes scanning the treeline. When his eyes spot mine, he nods his head, giving the go ahead for me to attack. I slide out the blades on my back, and I lower myself to the ground as I get ready to attack,

"Monty?" I stop cold as the voice sends wave of recognition towards me. And I watch as Monty's head snaps to the side, looking at the masked grounder,

"Mom?" he croaks out, and I loose a breathe as the supposed grounder strips herself of the mask, revealing the dark skinned women underneath,

"They're not enemies, let them go," she orders, and the people around her drop their captives, Bellamy eased off the ground. As Monty and his mother commence in their own reunion, I waltz over to Kane and the others, a smirk on my face,

"Good to see ya Pike, looks like your Earth skills class had some use after all," the grown man whips around to face me, and his eyes light up upon seeing my face,

"Katarina? How-when... you're supposed to be dead," he exclaims, and I shrug, getting used to the gawking,

"Supposed to be, will be, all means the same to me," I grin, and the man marvels at my health. His eyes shift to Kane, the man everyone knows loved my mother, and his eyes fill with understanding,
