Third Person POV.
KING LEVI was looking forward to that meeting. Parati niyang inaabangan ang meeting niya sa mga managers ngunit iba ang dahilan ngayon.
He would like to see that minx Alexandra Venice again. For some reason, he could't forget her face. She had a pretty face. And her body seemed to be beckoning him every time. Just remembering her made him hard, it was quite unbelievable.
Hindi siya sanay sa mga babaeng tumatanggi sa kanya, lalo na sa mga babaeng nagbabago ang isip. That surprised him, he had to admit. And he was quite disappointed about it.
Ano ba ang mayroon ang babaeng iyon na nagagawa siyang tanggihan gayon nakaoo na ito?
He felt somewhat cheated.
But then he admired her self-control.
He was challenged by it. He wanted to have her even more. Marahil, wala itong ideya na nakukuha niya ang lahat ng kanyang gusto. She would one day soon beg him to take her to bed. And she would be very satisfied. He would see to it.
He remembered the first time he saw her.
It was at the airport. Hindi niya makakalimutan ang unang taong tumawag sa kanya nang ganoon. Lalong hindi niya malilimutan ang unang taong nag-demand sa kanya na bayaran niya ito. It was almost hilarious, the way the woman thought.
Inasahan niya na magpapakita ito sa kanya ngunit nang hindi ito dumating, naisip niyang marahil ay nakontento na ito sa kakarampot na ibinigay niya rito.
He did not believe she did not know him. Everyone did. She was the most interesting thing about that flight. Hanggang maaari ay ayaw niyang sumakay ng commercial plane pero napilitan siya.
Under maintenance ang kanyang eroplano at peak season nang panahong iyon, magtatagal pa kung magmumula sa ibang bansa ang rerentahan niya.
Nagmamadali siya. He took the first flight out of JFK for emergency meeting with his staff. And then the interesting lady came his way.
Sino ba ang mag-aakalang makikita niya pa itong muli? But there she is.
Nagtungo na siya sa conference room.
Naroon na ang lahat. Hindi nakaligtas sa kanyang mga mata ang babae. She was wearing a business suit in pale blue. She's such a refreshing sight to behold among a sea of people dressed in their own navy-blue or black suits, or white kitchen uniforms.
Pumuwesto sya sa mahabang mesa. Nagsimulang magsalita ang isa niyang tauhan. He was quite impressed looking at Alexanda's report.
Ang totoo, nang una niyang tignan ang file ng babae, wala siyang idea na ito ang nakaengkuwentro niya sa airport. Nang matapos niyang basahin ang file ay saka niya tinignan ang nakalakip na larawan. He was impressed.
In some ways, they were the same. Marami na itong nagawa sa batang edad nito.
Tinawagan niya kaagad ang isa sa mga mentors niya. At sinabi nito sa kanya na mahusay raw sa trabaho ang babae. He made up his mind to make her a part of his dynamic team. So far, so good.
Napapansin niyang hindi ito tumitingin sa kanya.
He was looking at her all the time. He did not care if people notices that. Wala sa bokabolaryo niya ang isipin ang sasabihin ng iba. Kung ganoong klaseng tao siya, hindi sana siya nagtagal sa industriyang ito.
Tumayo siya nang siya na ang magsasalita.
"Very well. Have you all met the latest, not to mention, the most stunning part of this team?" Of course, his eyes were on Alexandra Venice. What's her nickname? Venice? Or Alex? Well he prepared for Alex.
Noon lamang tumingin sa kanya ang babae.
Napansin niya ang alab sa mga mata nito. He was more amused than mad. He had his reason if he's mad. The woman did not have any right to show resentment to him in front of these people.
But then, his amusement was far greater than his anger. The woman had balls. He admired that. Not a lot people these days had that.
"Let me introduce her, Miss Alexandra Venice Limford." Bahagya itong tumango.
Nakangiti naman dito ang iba pang naroon sa conference room. Saglit pa siyang nagsalita, saka niya tinapos ang meeting.
"Meeting is adjourned. Miss Limford, please stay." Again, he saw defiance in her eyes. But she stayed. Nang sila na lamang ang tao sa silid ay agad itong nagsalita.
"How dare you!"
"How dare I what?"
It was fascinating to look at her when she's mad. Namumula ang mga pisngi nito, umaabot sa leeg nito ang pamumulang iyon.
He wondered if she would look as flushed after being made love to.
Ang mga mata nito ay tila nagbabaga sa pagkakatingin sa kanya. He wondered if he would see that kind of passion in her eyes when they were making love.
For they would make love. And soon.
"How dare you do that to me in front of everyone! Now everyone's going to...to... think I'm some sort of plaything for you!"
"Now why would anyone think that?" He asked but he knew the answer right away, of course.
The whole town knew that every girl he was ever interested in became his. Masarap lang kapalitan ng salita ang babaeng ito. He liked asking questions that made her feel uneasy. Ah, he's enjoying this game. So much, as a matter of fact.
"You know why!"
"No, I don't, Kitten."
"Don't call me that. It disgusts me. I am not your kitten, I am not yours, period!" Mukhang gigil na gigil na ito. Tumayo na ito, bitbit ang ilang folders.
"You are not leaving the room, kitten. I am still your boss."
"Maybe now I can file a harassment case I've got witnesses."
"And they would testify what? That I referred to you as the stunning new addition to the group? Don't flatter yourself too much, honey, I say that all the time." Mapang asar na tugon ng lalaki rito.
Hindi agad ito nakapagsalita.
Again, he' was amused. How could she believe such lie? He did not give out compliments that frequently. He did not gave them through salary increases, promotions, more benefits.
"You didn't have to look at me like that in front of them!" Muli na namang nabuhay ang galit sa mga mata nito.
"Look, if you treat other women that way, and they get flattered, don't expect me to feel the same!" Dagdag pa nito.
"What should I expect from you then?"
"Anger? Disgust?" Asar na sagot rito ng babae.
Noon siya napikon. "Disgust. You are so hypocrite, Alex. If I disgust you, you wouldn't go to bed with me."
"I didn't go to bed with you!"
"You almost did." Tumayo siya, nilapitan niya ito.
Naupo siya sa mesa. Hinawakan niya ang mga kamay nitong agad nitong binawi. Muli niya iyong kinuha, saka pinisil. As expected, this time she didn't take her hand back.
"You are a very beautiful woman, Alex." Hinila niya ito patayo, palapit sa kanya. "And I love the way you smell. The way you taste, I love even more."
He could tell she's surrendering. Ah, this's almost effortless. Hinagkan niya ang mga labi nitong ilang gabi siyang ginulo.
