Hoshimi's POV:
"I do deeply apologise for that skimpy rat's disgraceful actions toward you. I promise you that he and his companions are locked up at the bottom deck until we arrive at Naporlia for their punishments." The captain assured as me, Amani, Hakuyuu and Hakuren stood in the Captain's office.
I smiled gratefully. "Thank you, Sir and it's not your fault," I replied.
"Locked up? He tried to rape her and you just locked him up?! You should've thrown him overboard!" Hakuyuu snapped as he angrily glared at the captain.
"Yuuta-kun." I grabbed his arm as I looked at him assuringly. "It's fine."
He turned to look at me with a shock and confuse eyes before he calmed down as he placed his other hand on mine's and squeezed it.
"No he's right, I should've known Adam more before finding out his true nature this way." The captain sighed as he rubbed his temple.
"Excuse me for asking this but, how did you meet Adam?" Hakuren asked curiously.
"Hmm, it was around 5 years ago, I found him almost skinny as a skeleton on an abandoned island. That boy, he kept rambling about finding something miracle and pleasing his king. I thought it was the starvation that causes him to act as this and I took him on my ship out of pity." The captain explained.
My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. 'Miracle? His king?' I thought.
"Thank you, Captain, for everything," I said as I bowed to him gratefully along before all of us walked out of the room.
"What do you think about Adam's story? If he were crazy when the captain found him, I wouldn't be surprised if he's still crazy!" Hakuren exclaimed throwing his arms up exaggerating.
"I'm still suspicious about what Adam was spurring out when the captain found him," Amani said as I nodded in agreement.
"Well, I hope it doesn't cause us any more troubles on this trip. We're still a week before we arrive in Reim territory." Hakuyuu stated sternly.
Soon after, Hakuyuu and Hakuren were called for work and Amani left to get something from our room. Leaving me standing on the deck as I looked at the calming ocean water as we sailed through. Then I looked back and glanced at the door that leads to the bottom deck.
'I know I shouldn't be doing this...but I need answers' I gulped down my hesitation and walked toward the door as I slowly reached out and grasped the doorknob. Letting out one last breath of nervousness, I twisted the doorknob and opened the door to a lowly dimmed stairways.
Closing the door behind me, I walked down the stairs quietly as I used the wall to steady myself until I got to the bottom. The sound of water dripping and rats scurrying away filled the darkroom as I walked forward.
I then heard voices ahead of me and saw a light swaying side to side on the ceiling.
"You have failed your mission to taint our pure princess."
I stiffened at the sound of an unfamiliar voice, a female to be specific, as I quietly moved closer toward the voices.
"I-I'm sorry, please don't hurt me!"
I hid behind a stack of crates and peek over to see Adam and his comrades cowering together as a woman with short, raven-black hair and poisonous green eyes, glared down at them.
'Who is she and how did she get onboard without anyone not seeing her?' I thought suspiciously.
"I-I was stopped! B-By that kid!" Adam objected as his fearful eyes stared at the dark-haired woman.
"Hmph. That kid is our King's son. Don't you dare disrespect our prince." I gasped quietly as my wide eyes stared in shock when I saw black Rukh surrounded her as her anger risen.
"But back to business, our King has stated that he has no use for mindless fools like you anymore so please understand." The woman explained after she calmed down as she casually gave the three men, a sweet smile.
I saw utter fears filled the men' eyes as they tried to plead and beg for forgiveness. For mercy.
"Dark Magic: Reaping of the Soul." I covered my mouth in horror as I was horrified at what I'm seeing right now.
The dark haired woman calmly faces her right palm to the three men, who saw what she is doing and tried to flee from her sight but failed miserably, as her hand glowed in a ghostly black before a white orb appeared in front of her orb.
Then, one by one, the men froze in their steps, like they were frozen in time, as their eyes and mouths began to glow like the orb before suddenly, a misty orbs came flying out of the men' mouths as they floated around in the air for a minute before flying into the orb in the woman's palm before she closes it and let out a satisfying sigh.
"My King must be very frustrated right now, but don't worry princess. Soon, you will become ours." My breath hitches when I caught the sight of the woman's poisonous eyes glanced back at me and an evil smirk crawled on her face before she clicked her fingers and disappeared in a dark mist.
I was left there in the dark room as I tried to process what had just happened. 'She mentioned a King. Who is this king and what does he want with me?' I thought feeling conflicted with myself.
3rd Person POV:
The white-haired Magician was so deep in her own thoughts that she didn't pay attention to a dark purple butterfly fluttering toward her as it silently floats in the back of her neck.
Then, a black butterfly tattoo appeared at where the butterfly flew in before fading away.
And Hoshimi still hasn't noticed a thing. She didn't get to as she heard her name being called above.
"Hoshimi...Hoshimi!"
"Amani..." The said girl muttered as she looked up before glancing at the cell where Adam and the two men' bodies laid lifeless as their dulled eyes stared into space blankly.
Gulping nervously, she turned around and hurriedly run the stairs, acting like she didn't see a thing as her heart beats rapidly against her chest.
'I'm sorry...for not being able to save you even if you did try to attack me. You were a kind man when we first met. I hope you can find peace, Adam'

Meanwhile, sitting in a silent room, like a throne room, on his throne that is decorated with shape bone-like spikes as he let out a deep chuckle, filled with sadistic coldness.
"Soon my pure princess, your untainted body will be mine and I will rule this unjust world as their Kings and with you as my Queen. Nothing will get in my desire for ultimate destruction." He vowed as he looked up and stared at the old portrait of a young woman with long white hair and kind blue eyes. Her face looks so similar to our white-haired Magician.
"We will be together forever." Before a roar of thunder stormed the dark building, synching with the dark laughs that filled the eerie room.
