I watch as the scenery in front of me breezes past.
And I only have one word to say: Beautiful.
The green rolling hills really complement the clear crystalline lake.
"James. This is so pretty!"
"Yeah I know. We are so lucky to have passed here. Shall we stop for a picnic?"
"Omg yes. Definitely!"
James pulls the car over and I rush to grab the picnic basket and mat from the boot.
"Here, let me get that for you."
"Thanks!" After dumping the heavy basket with James, I run towards the grassland beside the lake. It seemed endless, stretching to where the hills were.
"It's so big!" I spin round and round, hands outstretched.
"Watch your ste-"
Before James had a chance to finish his words, I trip, falling flat on my face.
I roll on my back to meet James's worried hazel eyes bearing into mine.
"Need help?" He asks.
"Nope!" Upon saying that, I got up, dusting the grass and wild flowers trapped on my clothes and skin.
"You missed a part here." James carefully inches in. I close my eyes and feel the light touch of his fingers on my cheek.
My eyelids flutter open and I stare at James.
"Were you expecting something?" A smug look forms on James's face.
"N-no. Of course not." I frown slightly.
"Awww...Don't be mad princess..." James cups my face in his hands and stares into my eyes.
I find myself flustered.
He moves closer. And closer.
Then, I feel his soft lips against mine and I melt under his kiss.
