Glass wall

It was funny. That foreign feeling that nestled itself in my stomach. My tummy churned, leaving me with a slightly naseous feeling. I wanted to vomit but at the same time I knew I didn't.

My chest felt tight, squeezing all the air out my lungs. Still I tried to speak. Softly and politely, I tried to. Maybe it would leave a good impression I thought.

Sadly, my words fell on deaf ears and all I could hear was murmuring. It was as if they were in a world of their own, enjoying each others' company as I sat behind a glass wall, staring blankly at them.
