Teenage love

It had been quite a while since the boy at the back of the classroom caught her eye.

Watching him laugh with others without her just made her feel kind of lonely and saddened.

That told her that he didn't need her in his life.

This girl was interesting. She decided to text him instead. Soon short conversations turned into long ones that would go on for nearly an hour. She was happy whenever she texted him.

But they still didn't talk in class. It was as if they were leading double lives.

The girl yearned to one day be proudly standing next to him, comfortably chatting with him and his friends.

They started hanging out, out of school. However, she wished the boy would be more willing to go out alone with her, or maybe give her a sign that he felt the same way.

But he was busy with his jobs.

And he had many other priorities which she wasn't part of.

So for now, the exclusive relationship she dreams of can only remain a dream.
